Grapes, dill havarti and sharp cheddar today (you're welcome, Swami).
Do any of you get the January blues? I'm starting to feel them. :-(
Chris used Stir Elton for the first time last night. Unfortunately he insists on using the Toll House recipe that NEVER turns out right for him, so they weren't so good. He still enjoyed his time with Stir.
I jogged my fastest mile last night on the treadmill..10.58 min. Still pathetically slow, but hey, I'm a fatty, cut me some slack.. I also had to do a little treadmill maintenance. I was worried it was breaking. Turned out to be a piece of plastic rubbing against something. No biggie.
MTW, a morning dj was talking about people at his health club brushing their teeth while naked. Do you swish with mouthwash at your club while naked?

I rode the stationary bike at the gym yesterday. I was trying to figure out the settings as I was riding so I have no clue how far or fast I went. I finally figured out the settings but by then it was 20 minutes into my ride.
How does one mess up the most perfect cookie in the world?
Every time I go in to use my eliptical, a certain little person follows me. and he insists that I watch "Cars" while I exercise.
I have the January stres too, and I swore I would not let things take over this year. Nine days in, and I'm already screwed.
*grumble, grumble*
So far so good on the blues. I'm still celebrating the good I've got. The ex tried hard yesterday to pull me down - so I played Freecell all day so I won't dwell on it.
And it's been so warm here that my winter blues haven't set in fully.
It's good that Chris uses Stir also. But does he clean it afterward?
I.Hate.January.
Hate it. Once I get past January it goes by quicker. The days get longer and the chill is usually gone. Although I can honestly say that there is no chill yet.
Good for you on the mile. It is harder on a treadmill. Keep it up and when the weather is nicer try it outside and you will be super fast. That time is not bad at all!
I used to get the mid-winter blues when I was living up north. I don't seem to get it here in the South due to the warmer temps and more sunshine.
The fact that you are on a treadmill puts you way ahead of a lot of us. At least me.
Wouldn't brushing your teeth while nekkid make things go jiggly? :-)
You all can't complain about January, until you've worked a January at a CPA firm. *huff*
Could your stress monster take my monster with him?
I try never to swish naked. But your question gives me an idea for my next blog update!
Maybe if you brushed your teeth upside down your breasts would get firmer. I did some excersies yesterday with my fitball and the handweights. Ari has stopped trying to be right next to me when I excercise, but he is very interested.
Ever since last year, I have a love-hate relationship with January.
Am I the only one who just walks on the ground for exercise?
Keep generating those endorphins, that will most definitely help with the January blahs.
I am one of those whacky people who honestly believe that exercise can bring on grace- others call it being it in the zone. I know right after a great run, my emotional, spiritual, physical self all resonate on the same plane and my cod, it is the best buzz on earth.
Good for you!
*gobbles down grapes*
I'm fine with January because it is usually so freaking cold that there's no time for being down. It's March I can't stand. By March I just want Spring so bad! And March is mostly nasty, lion weather here. I hate March.
January has me too busy to be down, like Swami says. Late March and early April suck though.
MM, I also walk on the ground (or fall, as the case may be).
Chris DID NOT give Stir a bath when he was done. He got lectured for that. It's improper to leave Stir smuged with flour and butter.
