Hating my Job

I needed a safe place to post and vent. This is fairly safe.

I'm in the midst of a job meltdown. I've been working every weekend at least 8 hours and at least a few extra nights per week since the first of the year, and it only gets worse from here on out. There's no end in sight. Sigh. It's not fun and interesting anymore.

I've had great opportunities, and my boss is really great (other than her inability to say no most of the time), it's just become too much. She's offered to work on a raise for me, but that's not even the point. That only makes it harder to get grants with more expensive staff attached. Sigh.

Sorry, just needed to vent.

3 Day 2011

Some begging by his former crewmates lured Chris and I into crewing in the Chicago 3 Day this year. Chris will be the route marking captain and I will be on his crew. Visions of Wiley Coyote & the Acme Corp. are dancing in his head.
