Pesto havarti today.
I might do some shopping for clothing tonight. I'm getting worried that all the money will disappear if I don't spend it soon. :-)
Chris has also offered to let me buy a bedroom set under a 0% financing deal. I am not sure if it's him being generous, or if he's scheming for me to say yes to something. Just so you know how much we need a bedroom set, we just had our seven year anniversary and our mattresses are still on the floor. The one dresser we have in our bedroom is a small four drawer chest from my childhood.
The spare bedroom mattresses are still on the floor and the dresser is a chest that we inheritted from somwhere...it's homemade from plywood. I painted it up, so it looks better.
How sad are we????
In other news, I just reserved my rental car for my Oct. CA trip. I needed a fairly roomy vehicle because I might have to transport some students for our training session. I decided to try a crossover vehicle. Hopefully the Chrysler Pacifica I want will still be available when I pick up my vehicle. Since I've had my eye on one for our next non-commuter vehicle, I thought this would be a good chance to check one out.

LOL, I like that you think he is saying yes because he wants something. I get caught doing that all the time. I guess Michelle has finally figured me out.
*hops* for your October trip. Makes me so happy.
We're looking at new beds too. Need one bad.
We have a nice bed. But we spent years on a metal frame with no headboard, etc.
Our next bed purchase will be for Conner. I would love to buy him one now, but he is attached to his toddler bed.
I am ignoring the CA trip talk.
Kim is staying a measley two miles from my house. Want to take bets on how many times I get lost?
I'm with Boo, ignoring trip talks.
I went bra shopping with Marisa on Saturday. I think I'm done shopping for a while, I need to recover.
Aw, little girls and bra shopping is so cute. I know, probably not so cute when you are the mom.
Bravie, I'm hoping the hotel has a very big sign out front for you.
I hate bra shopping. And I'm so glad I won't have to do that for a daughter. I think I would die.
It does, Kim. It's a very big hotel and I can actually see it from the end of my main street. that doesn't mean I won't get lost. I can't even find my way around the BART station or the airport and I have lived her for 29 years.
I have a dresser you could have. You just have to come get it.
Maybe I should pick up the dresser in my rental crossover. I wonder if unlimited miles includes a trip to the other coast?
Yay!!! Excited for Kim's CA trip! We rented a Pacifica once and loved it. Almost bought a new one last year. In fact, we had our eye on one that was really discounted and after thinking about it for about a week, went to the dealership to buy it only to find it was in the process of being sold. Still on the lot - they were finishing the deal. It was a Saturday, and if I had gone there first instead of going to tennis, my DW would be driving it now.
Ooops, MTW. Did you tell DW that you went to tennis first?
Why is MTW excited about your trip?
*glares*
I vote for getting the bedroom set. And new curtains, sheets and such.
I thought you were ignoring trip talk, Boo?
Momma, I like the way you think.
My matress is on the floor too, but I like it that way. I don't like having to climb up into bed. I like to fall into it. I have a bed frame and a headboard, but I prefer not to use the frame. If I ever did want something else, I would want one of those really low asian styled ones with the ledge all the way around the bed.
Oh yeah, I am. Carry on - without me it appears.
Jen-I love those asian platform beds. I worry about my fat kitty jumping up once we have a taller bed. How silly is that?
Boo-If you fly out, my hotel room is all yours to share. See, now whose fault is it you can't come?
Platform bed! Yes, that is the phrase I was looking for.
You could always get those pet steps for him. :)
Did you know that most little girl bras are padded? Majorly padded. *sigh*
I'd rather go bed shopping. I like that. I love our sleep number bed.
Huh? *head tilt* where did you go bra shopping DF? We found lots of non padded bras. Although I told her a little padding is nice so the boys don't stare at your cold boobies. *grin*
LOL. Chris might have his eye on a new John Deere item.
We bought our bedroom set on a 0% financing thing when we first moved here. I love my bedroom set. We actually used the 0% financing thing for our John Deere.
I hope you get good gas mileage on that rental car so you can drive down to L.A.
S.F. has a lot of "crossover" cars.
After I got married, we used my childhood bedroom set until I won a bedroom set on The Price Is Right.
Maybe Chris will want a John Deere bed; you know, like those toddler "car" beds.
There's nothing wrong with mattresses on the floor. Dwight & I just got bedroom furniture last spring and we've been married for 3 years plus lived together for 2 before that. We kind of worked on making the rest of our rooms look good before worrying about our bedroom. Until last spring though, we had mattress & box spring on a frame with no extras, Dwight's dresser from childhood, and a cheap dresser from KMart. My nightstand was a $10 table I picked up from Target and Dwight left his lamp/alarm clock on the floor since he had no nightstand. :-)
Hold on! Puffy won a bedroom set on The Price is Right?
Is this clip available? Why am I not suprised? Story please!
Oh we have no bed yet either. Cause we had hoped to move and get a king bed. I think we could use a headoboard but we'll see.
