Gooooooooo Badgers!

A fresh mozz, tomato & herb fritatta for breakfast. Mmm!

Chris and I will be going to the Badger football game tomorrow. The weather will be a little chilly (60s), but sunny. Great football weather here. We begin with 8:30 a.m. tailgaiting with some friends (in a church parking lot!). It's an 11:00 game, so we of course will do some celebrating afterwards (come on, we play The Citadel...there SHOULD be celebrating).

It will be Chris's first Badger football game. It's hard to get tickets and they are usually expensive. I can always get student section tickets around campus, but who wants to sit with a bunch of 18-20 year olds...really? Not me. This will be the first time I've sat in the non-student section and I'm looking forward to it.

Oh man - now I know what I am going to make for breakfast!!! That sounds delicious!

So you're sitting with the hoity-toity, well-heeled alums? Tom's old Badger gameday stories involve too much beer, minor law-scoffing and one attempted kidnapping - the usual student shenanigans.

*snort* You must have us confused with some Ivy League alums.

I'll have a frittata as well. And I have some English muffins here to go with it.

How exciting that you are going to the game. I wish I had gotten that college experience. The closest thing I've had is going to the Tech game when they went 11-0 and went to the Sugar Bowl. I'm not a Tech fan, but that was exciting.

I do love that Madison has a very college-oriented atmosphere. The whole city really gets into game day. Is Va. Tech like that, Boo? I'm guessing more so now.

In other news, I think I found what program I want to take in persuing more education. I was thinking of a distance ed certificate, but was kind of blase' about it. Then I found an MS in Adult Education with a Human Services concentration. It's perfect for where I see my career going and it's offered in a weekend format. Plus, it's through the UW, so cheaper than a private college (which are more focused on employeed adult learners, but are more expensive and some are questionable quality).
Yay!

I love football games. I bet you'll have a wonderful time!

I would love to further my education. I can't justify the expense, and if one of us is going to spend the money to continue our education, it has to be Mr. Fro. It will benefit him WAY more in his career than it will me. That kinda bums me out because of the two of us, I'm the one who would love to do it, and he's the one who is sick of school.

Yep, it was Vick's last game. So it was a huge deal back then.

Mmmm, frittatas!

Have fun at the game, Kim! Oh, and what do you drink that early? Mimosas?

More football talk? *rolls eyes*

I've never had a frittata. I've seen recipes for them in my south beach diet book and they never sounded appealing to me. Made me think of quiche and I don't like quiche. I do think the word "frittata" is a pretty funny name and makes me think of oobies (tatas). :-)

Speaking of fri-tatas, I love it when women raise their arms in touchdown signals. :-) Especially when they're wearing tight sweaters. :-)

*reminds self to wear tight sweater*

*giggles at Nookie's fri-tatas*

And um, in Wisconsin we can start drinking beer that early on game day. Although, a bloody mary is also acceptable for a first drink.

Has anyone tried the Oreo Cakesters? I just saw a pop up for them and it made me very hungry. I refuse to buy a box because I'd inhale them all.

Just swinging by to look at your cheesehead. *giggle*
