Sorry I'm Late

Big meeting this morning. I'm happy to share bagels and two types of cream cheese with you. We have baked apple, blueberry, pumpernickel, honey oat, sun dried tomato, olive oil & rosemary and poppy seed bagels. Cream cheese is either plain lite or garden veggie lite. I wanted the pumpkin, but it was full fat.

Random stuff:
1. My new Sandisk MP3 player will arrive on Monday. Yay! I can workout to tunes in the basement (the cd boombox I was using doesn't work very well). I also got a headphone splitter so Chris and I can both listen to it on plane trips, as well as both listen to dvds on the laptop.

2. Work is crazy busy, but it's ok. It's not so bad I can't handle it. And most of the work is really interesting.

3. Chris is home sick today with a cold. I haven't caught it...yet.

4. I don't have to work tonight! A coworker wanted a shift & offered to pick mine up. Yay!

5. Brokeback Mountain was odd. I have mixed feelings on the movie. First complaint: It should've had subtitles. I couldn't understand the cowboy mumbles half the time.

Question: Do you ever get up in the middle of the night and either get something to eat, drink something other than water or sit & watch tv? I don't...just wondering if others do and what drives them to do it.

Yay for the sandisk MP3 player!

*hugs* for Chris. Hope you don't catch it, Kim.

Brokeback mountian...hmmm. I saw it, but was kinda distracted during the movie. I think I liked it, but it was really sad.

I never get up and turn anything on. I'll just leave it at that.

I like Everything Bagels, and low fat cream cheese tastes weird IMO. So I'll just steal some more American for a grilled cheese.

I never saw Brokeback Mountain because I don't like cowboy movies. I know it's not a cowboy movie but it has a cowboy setting. I thought Legends of the Fall was boring, mostly because of the cowboy connection. Cowboys just turn me off. Love horses; hate cowboys.

If I have trouble getting to sleep (which is very rare) I will get up and read for a while, usually with a drink of something. I never lay awake in bed. If you can't sleep, get up. And never eat in the middle of the night. Your body will start wanting regular middle of the night snacks & wake you up for them causing a circular problem.

I want honey oat or blueberry with plain cream cheese.

My work is crazy slow right now and that, of course, makes it way more boring than usual. I mean, there are things I could do, but I don't want to.

Loved Brokeback Mountain. Loved it.

I do not get out of bed in the middle of my sleep (can't say middle of the night because on weekends I stay up until early morning and it's not much better during the week). If I wake up and I can still sleep, I go back to sleep until the alarm goes off or until I am done.

I just saw Brokeback Mountain. The only thing I didn't understand is how they went from thinking they were heterosexual and barely speaking to each to having this insane love affair like two days later. I just thought that given the time period and the setting, it would have take a little longer for them to make a connection. I thought the end was horribly sad. Their longing to be together was palapable through the screen.

I thought exactly the same thing, tkit. It really bothered me throughout the movie.

I often get up in the middle of the night. I'll eat or drink my big glass of milk. Sometimes check my email, sometimes watch tv, sometimes just stare at the walls.

Tell Chris he's a wuss. I have a horrible cold and I'm at work.

I don't like eating poppy seed bagels because they always get stuck in my front teeth.

Yay for your new MP3 player and Yay that you don't have to work tonight.

Hope you don't get a cold. Stay away from Chris's cooties this weekend.

I saw Brokeback Mountain. I didn't think it was all that great of a movie. It was ok but not great.

Did anyone ever see the spoof they did on SNL (or perhaps Mad TV)? Had to do with lesbians and the husbands weren't mad because they were getting off watching the two women get it on LOL. Was really funny.

The only time I get up in the middle of the night is to pee or get some water. I never eat. If, I can't get back to sleep, I'll turn the tv on. This doesn't happen very often. I'm more likely to just lay in bed and toss and turn.

Hey Breezy, you are wearing new clothes in your avatar. New birthday outfit? And yes, I will tell Chris he is a wuss. :-)

I posted a big long comment here earlier. Where'd it go?

*wonders if Kim is deleting my comments* *evil eye*

Hey Nookie! My 2 front teeth are exactly one poppy seed apart too! Or a sideways sesame seed.

I thought Nookie said she doesn't like eating poop.

I was about to agree until I re-read her post.

I love bagels and cream cheese. *drool*

Haven't seen Brokeback Mt yet, but I do have it on my list of DVD to get.

I never get up in the middle of the night except to pee, and then I go right back to sleep. Hardly ever have insomnia (could probably count on one hand the times I did). If I did get up I'd probably turn on the TV so I could kill time before I fell asleep again. Or had to get up.

Dammit! Now I want a bagel. *drool*
