Bothersome things

Cheesy swiss quiche this morning. I'll even leave the mushrooms out of half.

1. McDonald's will now be serving breakfast all day. Will this lead to breakfast burrito cravings after nights of drinking?

2. This Home & Garden Party thing I'm hosting for my friend. She sent me an email saying I must pick a 'theme' so that we can play games & have an auction. She suggested a chocolate these, apple theme or fall theme. They can bring items related to the themes or wear clothing related. Great. Effing great.

3. I watched The Biggest Looser while making dinner & a pie for Chris's potluck. It made me feel like my workouts are real pansy-ass and I need to step it up.

4. Chris will be away all weekend & I can't come up with something fun to do on Friday night (I work Saturday night). I might take myself to a movie.

I think you should have a Classics theme and everyone come in togas. I always liked toga parties. Do you kids even know what they are anymore?

I never go to McDonalds.

I hate going to movies by myself too, and will only do it on an afternoon. Something about walking into a dark parking lot alone freaks me out - even in safest suburbia.

I always hated arriving at McDonald's at 10:55 am to get an egg mcmuffin only to be told breakfast is over. Pfffffffft!

What kind of clothes would you wear for a chocolate theme?

There are often times I'm dying to see a movie and the only way to see it would be to go alone. I've never done it though because I always end up being too lazy.

I thought about doing a Charity theme and have everyone bring an item for the food pantry or book for the library, but then decided that would probably rain on her parade of silly stuff.

I think you should do the charity theme for a pantry, very good idea. Who cares about her silly games, it's your party.

I watched Biggest Loser too, I'm a wuss.

I vote you rent movies, wear jammies and relax all Friday evening.

I have been waiting for forever to have breakfast all day at McDonalds. I love the sausage McMuffin with no egg. Yummmy.

I think the charity theme is excellent. You're the one allowing these people into your home. Great thinking Kim!

I LOVE Breezy's suggestion about renting movies and chilling out in your jammies.

OMH. I'm going to want a sausage and egg mcmuffin all the time now. *sigh*

What? No cheese theme?

Go see The Last Kiss! :)

1. This is wrong, and I am so glad I do not work there. Do you know how hard it was to serve breakfast until 11 a.m.

2. This is the theme one, correct? I say go with a Halloween "Boo" theme. *grin*

3. This is the Biggest Loser one right? I watched 20 minutes of it today while I ate my grilled chicken salad. I'm going to write a summary for it.

4. I would be happy to trade places with you. I would do just about anything to be home alone. Really. Michael is going on a golf trip next month, and I am planning to have a blog party.

I like the Charity theme. Prize for the best charity donation?

A themed party? How 'bout a "come as you are" party? Since they know about it already they'll come as they want to, but it is a theme (supposedly).

I hate breakfast at normal breakfast hours. (Therefore, I alos rarely cook it - at any time.) I'm looking forward to this.

I have never gone to a movie by myself. Haven't ever even considered it as a possibility. And, I only just realized that.

If I ever find myself single for whatever reason, I'm screwed.
