Spinach and guyere puffs this morning. My oven is fixed. I was without an oven for a week. No biggie, really. I just used the grill, stovetop and crock pot a lot.
The serviceman was here at 6:35 this morning. Ugh. This weekend we realized the oven was officially broken after tearing it apart. We needed to call the service company Monday morning. I was sad, as I knew it would be expensive. Well, as I was cleaning out our "important papers box" (since it was a rainy weekend & thus good for that kind of stuff) and transferring items to our little fireproof safe, I found extended warranty certificates we'd purchased for our stove & fridge. Yay! I'd forgotten all about that! So this service call cost us nothing. Groovy!
It's drizzling outside. I thought we were done with rain...sent it to the East Coast. Harumph.
I missed the Rock Star finale last night. Chris couldn't tape it, as the last storm blew some input thing on our tv. So his coworker might have brought her tape in today for me. Otherwise, I'll watch some online tomorrow (at work with the speedy net). I stick by my earlier analysis that Supernova wanted Lukas to help them bring in a younger (more music-spending) crowd. Toby (& to some degreeDilana) would have made the 30-40 year old fans (former Crue, GnR, Metallica fans) happy. Unfortunately, our age group on its own doesn't fill concert venues and make for skyrocketing hits.

I can't post where people talk about Rock Star stuff because I got nuttin.
Did this spinach come from a bag?
It did, boo! Muwhahahaha! I just saw that on the news last night. I polished off my bag of spinach yesterday *takes temperature*...apparently I'm ok.
I feel bad for Popeye.
