Here are three pics from my childhood. The first one is me on my "stage" in our basement. Note the orange carpeting, the faux fireplace, and yes, that's a record player down in the corner. I was likely singing to my aunt Madonna's records. She went to Nashville and recorded a twangy country album in her 30s.
The middle one is a posed pic of me around three years old. I look like a good country girl, yes?
The third one is of me in the balerina outfit (about 4 years old) that my mom bought me to cope with the fact my sister was in dance and I wasn't. I used this, and my sister's old dance costumes, to perform for my entire extended family during holidays. I was the youngest grandchild and often couldn't be part of the plays and acts they'd perform for the family. Thus, I put on my own show, always involving dance.
We pick the car up today. It's a 2000 (I keep saying 1990, I don't know why...I'm a decade behind) Toyota MX2 Spyder. At least I look good in it, and it IS cute and zippy. Chris likes it because it's uber fast and "sticky" on corners. He pointed out that his dad, at 64, is the oldest living male EVER on his father's side of the family, so 34 really is mid-life. :-)

Awwwwww, look how cute. And you were cute too. *snort*
Maybe I can take my dancing act on the road and have Chris be my chauffer. This would work, right?
I was going to say I love the jugs in the first picture, but that somehow just wouldn't sound right.
But, everytime Carlos and I go to an antique fair I look at jugs. Geez, that doesn't sound right either.
Oh bother - you know what I mean.
*snort* @ MC! I loved to play with those jugs. :-)
Oh to be a DINK!!!!
Cute pics!!!
*snort* He is going through his mid-life crisis.
You're related to Madonna? *sings* "Like a Virgin."
The car is gorgeous. I love Toyotas.
Freaking love the hairdo in the middle pic. Very "Charlie's Angels".
You are a very country-cute kid, Kim! I love the tutu pic. I have a pic of me in iceskates and a tutu somewhere - but it's in B&W, lol.
All men deserve a mid-life crisis machine. But 34 is a bit early to get one. You know he is going to need another mid-life crisis machine in about 10 years, right?
Lol at Zombie - I haven't hear5d that term in years!
You're just toooooo friggin' cute!
It's only a mid-life crisis vehicle if it's red. <-----says the owner of a red Monte Carlo *grin*
Forgot to say...it's very cute and you will look soooooo hot driving it. *wink*
I *love* the pics, Kim! Keep 'em coming if you have them.
And cool ride! Come pick me up please.
Awww. Those pics (of you) really put a smile on my face! :)
Too cute! You, not the car. But the car is cute too, but not as cute as you.
