Ok, my mind is already on vacation....and I need caffiene (I've had none today).
1. I've temporarily remedied my hair situation by thinning it with thinning shears. It's a little more bouncy now.
2. I have my list of things to do to Breezy, although if she doesn't show up with Chai, I'll just have to steal her cocktail.
3. I have a new job offer. My mind is about ready to explode and I need the long weekend to mull this over with DH and run numbers. There's a few different ways they are willing to do it (50% time, they'd buyout my time from current employeer or 100% time buyout-I'd still be employeed by my org for a year- or 100% employee for them with high potential to go long term).
It could mean a huge raise, but less vacation, less flexibility and I'd have to contribute to a 401K (Employer contributes all now, new job would mean I'd contribute half). Plus, commuting together gets tougher.
However, it's an exciting job in my area of interest, with an organization I love, and has easier long-term potential than my current soft-money job. Going from state employment to private is a really tough call. Both have pros and cons.
4. Don't behave while I'm gone. Whatever you do, do something naughty.

What a fantastic decision you will have to make! I'd be happy to go over anything with you. Although Breezy is an accountant, so she can run numbers and I'll just listen.
I'm hoping to be naughty tomorrow evening.
My old employer contributed all to my IRA. I do miss that, but I made the right decision at that time.
Have a fun vacation. Not too much thinking. And don't forget to give Breezy my hug.
I think I'm going to fly out to CA and help Tab buy a new shoulder massager. I couldn't possibly get into trouble doing that, right?
