Live report from my desk

  • I have two red binders for two current projects that I use daily. I should've made them different colors.
  • My Palm is pissing me off. I think I'm ditching it. I'll find someone else here to donate my headache to.
  • I received an email from my master's program regarding orientation to their course software. This makes me anxious to start classes.
  • I'm doing data analysis today and need lots of breaks. I really hate doing analysis.
  • Our Thai student brought me really spicy red curry for lunch. I love her. She wants me to make her pumpkin pie. Glad I'm good at pumpkin pie and she didn't choose something like foie gras, which I've never made and never will.

You do realize that I would have used two different colors, yes? Perhaps a nice festive green is in order. I am about to go folder crazy. I have requested that my assistant stock up on multiple colors.

This, is why I don't have one of those things. You can have my share of the 3-Day headache. Do you realize that there are high school graduates on our crew? Do you realize that I am old enough to have a high school graduate as a child?

Yay for the email. I am anxious for you to start to so that I can be your proud friend.

I am not doing any sort of data analysis. I am just saying, charge it this week. I have no time for analysis. I am breaking in a new marketing person. She was doing rather well until the first set of brochures arrived. My red pen has been busy today.

I thought of you when I posted #1. :-)

Am I missing out on some crew emails? I have only gotten one email so far from our captain about a month ago and nothing else.

I forgot about the Thai. I was using the boss's puter, and he pulled up mid-stream, so I had to jet.

I think I would prefer teh foie grass over the Thai or the pumpkin pie. :)

What are you making me in October?

And I just forwarded some emails to you . I don't get them at the work email, only at the gmail. I gave him both. I think he sends to both, but the work filter catches them and then the Beast Bitch doesn't forward them to me.

I thought you were throwing out the palm of your hand. That wouldn't be good. Not at all. :)

That is all.

Switch one folder to another color! It's really better that way.

Lol at Carey. Why is your Palm annoying you? Some of us have never had a Palm you know.

Mmmm - Thai curry. Altho, I regard Thai food primarily as a basil delivery system and I don't think red curry has basil in it.

Pumpkin pie - meh, it's okay. Mr Swami loves it. I made foie gras once for a fancy buffet and it came out pretty good even though I don't really like liver.

So you chose red because they are both important projects?

My Palm only works with the cord plugged in, and then not for long, so I have to ebay it or craiglist it or something like that, just for parts.

Yay on the master's degree program! DD starts community college at the end of this month.

Thai food! I love it!

I have a volunteer pumpkin vine in our compost heap that has 3 gourds on it already, with many flowers on it. I'm hopping for some nice big pumpkins for Hallow's Eve. I've never made pumpkin pie out of raw pumpkin, but I will try it out this year.

I totally need to go to Staples to put together a binder dedicated to the house. I'm hoping to find a really cool color (red would work) as I don't want to end up with white.

Data analysis is evil. *shudder*

I do not have a Palm. I do not have a cell phone. Yes, I am the last remaining person on earth who does not have a cell phone. I'm quite proud of that.

I like pumpkin pie, but my favorite pie is peach.

Kim, can you come over and make me pie?

We have a volunteer zuchinni vine, which is cool. I love zuchinni.

Augie, I will always make you a pie when you ask. Nolay's favorite is peach, too. Perhaps you could split it.
