Overtime is killing me.

Not mine. Chris's. I'm on salary, so my schedule often varies. I always make up for the really long days by cutting a few short over the next few weeks. However, Chris has been working overtime, and since we commute, that means I'm also up earlier and home later. It's wearing thin, but the money is nice.

I talked to Lasann last night! She's a real sweetheart. I really, really hope we meet in Seattle this summer!

Oh. Cheese. Right. Grilled mozzarella, spinach, basil and tomato sandwiches. Yum!

I think you should buy a skateboard and commute to work on your skateboard. Then you won't have to work Chris' hours.
You talked to Lasann, I talked to Glowie, it was a blogger phone night last night. *grin*

You were panicking to her about AI, weren't you?

Do you think they make skateboards with cheese themes?

You are too sweet. After we hung up I asked my son to slap me (he didn't). I felt that I rambled. I do that when I'm nervous.

Then I realized that I'm probably older than your parents *giggle*. Was it like giving romantic advice to your mom?

I enjoyed our talk and can't wait for Seattle.

I've never grilled mozzarella before. Tomatoes - ick. What type of bread should grilled mozzarella be on? Italian?

Italian bread would be an excellent grilled mozzarella choice.

LOL, I rambled, too! I think we spent more time just getting to know eachother than talking about problems. And I'm an old soul. There's no such thing as age on here anyway, right?

LOL. Sort of. I was skeert with no power and my GF wasn't home. I was crying and afraid. *grin*

LOL. On topic with phone calls, I had to listen to all of my old voice mails this morning in order to get to a specific message that I was looking for. I got to listen to my Kimmer and Mr. Kimmer messages from Valentine's day again. *giggle*

Whoa! You guys used actual phones??? I would be scared to death to actually talk to people! Calling you that couple of times before our peep meet almost killed me! LOL!

Seriously, I would be so afraid I'd say something stupid or be unable to come up with anything at all to say. At least here, when I write something stupid, I have to press Publish before it goes out to the world. And if I have nothing smart or witty to say, I can just say "smooch", or I can just blurk.

*giggle* Yeah, phone calls are the point of no return, aren't they?

Luckily for me, almost everything that comes out of my mouth and my fingers is stupid. So I have no worries of disappointing anyone on the phone. I don't think anyone calls me for an intellectual conversation, so it's all good.

I'll take one of those grilled cheeses, but hold the tomoatoes please. Tomatoes on grilled sammies is just wrong.

The first peep I spoke to on the phone was Memo. Very scary but nice at the same time.

That whole overtime thing kinda sucks huh?

Just for that, I think I'm calling Carey and Breezy for an intellectual conversation tonight.

Good luck with that, momma. *rolls eyes*

I'll be picking Breezy up from the airport around 9:30pm my time. We will practice our intellectual conversations.
