String Cheese for all!
It's been hella busy, but not so bad that I'm ready to cry in misery. Updates:
1) Chris injured his rotator cuff. Since every man I know has had this problem, I told him it was his rite of passage into old-manhood. He DOES turn 34 next week. *grin* So, he's in a sling and a lot of pain. And today? He's having flu-like symptoms. Poor guy.
2) It's new coffee creamer time! I usually drink my coffee black, but when fun creamers are available, I snag them up! I bought a Coconut Cream one for work and tried it this morning. Hm. I love the smell, I like the taste. Not sure I'd buy it again, but it's a fun diversion. The Almond Vanilla is at home. I'll try that on Saturday (we only make coffee at home on the weekends).
3) Brrrrr. I'm cold.
4) I'm ready for St. Patrick's Day this weekend, although I'm a bit dismayed my shirt hasn't yet arrived. :-(
Thanks for not leaving a cheesy mess in my blog!

Jason has this creme brulee kind that's really yummy. I only drink coffee at his house.
Your hubby and my sweetie are the same age.
I love string cheese! But it has to have real stringability - not those cheese sticks some stores sell that can't be pulled into fine strings.
I know very few people with injured rotator cuffs. Mr Swami's are perfect, lol.
I never like flavored coffee creamers. They just make the coffee taste weird IMO.
I am ready for the yearly eating of corned beef and cabbage. I like corned beef but I only make it around St Paddy's Day. I cheat and use Biscuit mix to make quicky, fake soda bread. I wear green but I don't have a special 'Irish' shirt even though my mom's parents were from Ireland.
I can't wait to make my annual corned beef and cabbage in the crockpot on Saturday. I do it every year and the usual band of troublemakers come over to gobble it all up. My new crock pot is almost double the size of my old one so I get to make a huge one this year. *hops*
I hope the shirt arrives today or tomorrow!
"I get to make a huge one this year." This is code, no?
I like the cabbage, but not the corned beef.
I can see why you don't like the creamers, Swami. They DO lend that artificial taste a bit.
I love cabbage, not not corned beef.
Swami: I totally agree. I buy the Kraft sticks for me, but the cheaper ones for Conner since he doesn't like the stringies.
Oh, and TMI:
I have my annual doctors appt this afternoon. I already cancelled in Nov. (due to the last minute decision to go to Dallas) and it's a 6 month wait for an appointment for these types. Well, it's . week. I didn't realize that when I made the reschedule back in Nov. I just took the first available date. So now, I'm going to have the rest of my physical today and the gyno part some other time, per the nurse. Weird.
String cheese creeps me out.
Ack! He's in a sling and has flu symptoms? If he's like many sick men, I feel sorry for you LOL.
I was once into the flavored coffee creamers but I overdid and now I can't use them. I don't think I could ever drink coffee without some kind of cream though.
*fans self* It's warm here today.
I never do anything for St. Paddy's day.
I think your TMI comment belongs on OT, not here! ;-)
I have that appointment next week. I think I was supposed to lose a few pounds before I went back.
Good thing I've got this big freaking boot on my leg. You can't fault a one-legged sally, right?
I love the caramel vanilla creamer. Yum! Also, I agree with Swami about string cheese's strigability. Has to be stringy. I miss stringy string cheese. Seems it's all normal cheese now, in the shape of a log (?) or something.
