I should've stayed home

Appenzeller fondue today. Dip in!

The weather was really crappy today. Chris dropped me at the bus stop so I could take the bus across town to work. Then, he didn't have to keep driving in the crappy conditions and would get to work on time. I had to wait 25 minutes for an effing bus. Grrr. And brrrr.

I told my boss last night I might stay home today, but the forcasters said "eh, it's just going to be rainy. I don't know why schools are starting late and closing." Glare ice with snow on top as we got closer to Madison.

On a brighter note, at least I'll be eating fondue with my friends here today. And my Everyday Minerals samples came yesterday. I ordered them after someone in that thread where Geg said she couldn't use BM recommended the EM. I think they are the most comparable to BM I've tried.

It's very rainy here today, but the temps are supposed to approach 40! Heat wave!
I actually don't mind rain. I look at is as a free car wash. *grin*

I like the EM better than BM. I think they cover a little better and they don't make my pores huge.

No rain here for a couple of days. Thank goodness. I hate rain and I hate cold. It's been chilly in the morning but compared to you east coasters and midwesterners, we got it made.
*grin*

We've got a wicked ass storm headed this way just in time for drive home. But I've scored tomorrow off so I'm happy.

But at the same time sad to hear you were blue. Better today?

I'm making myself feel better by shopping for a new St. Patty's day shirt. St. Patrick's Day always makes me feel better. There are some wicked cool women's rugby's on the Guinness site.

We have steady, moderate snow and 24'. I did hear one rumble of thunder, but so far no thundersnow. I love a thundersnowstorm! Huge, wet flakes and the lightning looks so cool when filtered through a sky full of snow.

Correction: I love a thundersnowstorm when I don't have to travel in one.

It was freezing rain AND snowing at the same time this morning. So weird.

I agree that the Everyday Minerals are almost comparable to Bare Minerals. I bought an off-brand on ebay once and they did nothing. I put all the little Everyday Minerals foundation samples all together in one larger old, empty Bare Minerals container.
