TV shopping and my throat

Squeaky garlic dill cheese curds this morning for my friends. Just don't breathe on me.

Shopping
TV/stereo equipment shopping was funny. We got our store credit card (planning on the 0% financing) and went over to the tv section. First salesman we see was my old boss from high school (at Dairy Queen!). Small world. He is a cool guy.

He gets us pointed to the right tv and then Chris starts looking at home stereo equipment replacements. Decided on 2 slim tower speakers (so we could get the giant, ugly 1980s speakers out of the living room) and a new receiver. Sometime during this, we realized not everything was 0% til 2008 financing...just "targeted" items (none of which we picked out). *frowny face* That was a deal breaker.

Salesman guy hooked us up though and gave us 0% on everything. Yay!

Pill
Is it possible that my tiny bc pill got stuck in my throat on Sunday night and is still there? *gulp cough* Feels like it.

Well if it's stuck in your throat, it will prevent you from getting pregnant from oral sex, right?

Funny story:
Michelle has this cousin who is very naive (sp). She got married at 21 and was pregnant at 22. She had morning sickness very badly and so she went to the doctor. She started crying and told the doctor that she was afraid that she had lost the baby. the doctor asked her why she thought that and she said that she had been getting sick so much that she was afraid she had thrown up the baby. No lie.
Some people should not breed.

Buwahahaa!

Wow. Michelle has a very 'special' cousin.

LOL @ Carey and also @ Michelle's poor cousin. Here's hoping the husband is a nice guy - the world is going to eat her alive.

No cheese curds for me, please.

I hate that feeling of a pill getting stuck in your throat.

I'm going to strangle Rudy.

Don't get mad. Come and have fun threadjacking with us.

kim (weltek) said...

Unfortunately, I think he takes the threadjacking as a sign of popularity, thus, I just can't bring myself to do it. He's so effing warped.

I, however, am very much enjoying your wit over there. I can smile before I read his next post and shoot eye daggers at him. :-)

I'm a Republican, you know. I wonder if Rudy's thread is any different than any of the endless Bush or Republican bashing threads.

I was going to start that last sentence with "I don't think" instead of "I wonder" but couldn't because I don't even open those threads . Not even the Republican ones!

I didn't open Rudy's thread until I saw your comment here.

And apparently, I'm missing some really witty comments by Carey!

I think he knows better coming from me and Augie. He knows our dislike of him.
AND? If he is too stupid to figure out that we are making fun of him? That just makes it all that much more fun.
I can now add 8 more points to my corruption quiz because I am laughing and the mentally disabled by making fun of him.

IMHO, Bush is fair game. The POTUS, regardless of political affiliation, is fair game. There are a few people on OT (I can think of two right now) that Republican bash, and I don't condone that. However, I find Rudy's constant starting of inflamatory threads REALLY old, REALLY fast. I don't attack Nailbone or even usually newsomewayne for their political posts. They participate meaningfully, IMHO. Rudy shows little respect for anyone other than his bretheren and does his best to offend everyone...and thinks it's funny.

Yeah, what Kim said.
Truthfully, other than women's rights and gay rights, I tend to lean towards the right.

kim (weltek) said...

Heh, I just reread my post above here & realize that I inferred that I did "attack" sometimes. I hope I never actually verbally attacked anyone. I'm not one to do that.

Bravie said...

Kim's a verbal attacker, Kim's a verbal attacker!!!!!

kim (weltek) said...

Pootyface.

Kim <----could get used to being a verbal attacker

Bravie said...

Oh great. And Boner called me a boogerface. I think I need to go to the restroom and wash my face.

*POOOOOOOOT*

Breezy, pack the beer bands.

Wow. That's quite a thread isn't it? I don't usually read the political ones, even though I should, just to keep up with current events.

But yay, kim!

And Carey!

And Augie!

Seana said...

Oh, and geg!

Does she ever visit here? Well, yay for her anyway.

Just so you know, after having two big beers in the afternoon, typing becomes difficult.

Kim, I am pissed off at you. You raised my curiosity and I had to read the Rudy thread. I am now so disgusted on so many levels, my stomach hurts. Or it could be the jalapeno bread, but hey, my blood pressure feels higher from that thread.

At least now I remember very clearly why I don't read those threads. Are there any good threads about babies or puppies I can click on?

mtw said...

Okay, I'm over it now.

*smooch*

RR...not so much

I had fun in that thread today. Now I know that I just have to treat his threads and his posts as the jokes that they are. Much better on my blood pressure.
