Boursin garlic & herb on toast points today.
Take a look around, blogfriends. We obviously share something in common. Enough that we visit eachother's blogs, send emails and sometimes things via snail mail. And, heck, we even visit eachother in person. Some of us have lots in common. Some of us have seemingly little in common other than a sense of humor and being electronically chatty.
The reality is we are all very different people. We come from different social, economic and physical places. We have different lifestyles, education and interests. Different experiences. All that shapes who we are and how we relate to others.
And you know what? That is what I love most. Not our similarities, but rather our differences. We learn from eachother. The fact that I feel comfortable with people that I only share some similarities with is a great feeling.

It is such a wonderful dynamic, this world of ours. I too enjoy the differences. *smooch*
Are we celebrating diversity today? Yay!
Kim, I'm glad you could tolerate me too! :-)
*smooch*
I'm just glad that blogland has given me an opportunity to get to know so many peeps so much better than I would know them if I only hung out at that other place.
Whoa! I'm having a serious case of deja-vu. Has this been posted before?
Are there wristbands to celebrate online community diversity? :-)
Speaking of wristbands, remind Breezy to bring her beerbands to SF. If you aren't drinking a bottled or canned beverage, you can wear them like bracelets on your wrists.
I probably spewed on about you hosers in some other previous post.
*snort* I like the word hosers. I should use it more often.
No, seriously. I'm even having deja-vu at the comments.
*cue Twilight Zone music*
Umm, Kim
Hosers is a Canadian term. You have to ask permission from one of us before you can go throwing it around like that.
*points to page 193, paragarph 4 of the book "All Things Canadian."*
U.S. Customs confiscated my book upon re-entry.
Pack beer bands! Yep that's on my list.
Heh, I'll email you... my list of things to do this month is growing.
I like everyone's differences, I have trouble always liking myself so why would I want all the people I surround myself with to be just like me?
*smooch* To my bloggy friends
Maybe you should just pack everything in your suitcase & move to SF. Michelle is really making the place spiffy, I hear. :-)
OFF BLOG TOPIC:
I was just looking thru my email. You know how I get Repulican and Democratic party emails...well today the political email was from always lovable Dick Cheney!
This was the part I especially loved. Pot, meet Kettle.
The Democrats rely on unions and wealthy liberals to fund and operate their voter turnout. The RNC's Get-Out-The-Vote relies on the voluntary contributions of grassroots supporters like you, Kim.
And apparently they think that since I signed up for their emails that I'm a "grassroots supporter."
Schnookie, I posted something similiar in a brief regrettable moment of friendly emotion. I then had to kick several puppies to make up for such unboblike behaviour.

I agree Waltek, I love to hear about people whose lives are so different from my own and most of my 3D friends.

Hey, no kicking kittens in my blog!
It's a lovely community. And poutine is the glue that binds us.
*hugs Kim*
*feels all mushy and stuff*
I still have never had poutine. And I really really want some.
I agree.
It's funny because I find myself really agreeing with lots of people and really not agreeing with lots of people. But there is obviously something special here which keeps me here.
*group hug* <----- I accidentally typed "grope" hug at first.
wait. People are different than me? I had no idea.
*smooches all around*
*pours poutine over self and hugs everyone*
