THE week

This is my last horrendous week until mid-January-YAY!

My new list:

1) Write paper. I have ideas jotted down and notes organized from one book. Now for the other two I have to compare/contrast.

2) Texas should be warmer than here this week, at any rate. Our garage door was frozen shut this morning. MINUS 20 below with the windchill. Yuck! I hate wind!

3) Ali gets her staples out tomorrow. yay!

Look-it's shrinking!
Oh, and I have chili for lunch, so come to this blog in the afternoon at your own risk.

It's way too cold here! Make it stop.

I'll put a package of warmth in the mail when I get to Texas Wed. night. :-)

You need to slow down.

*holds out empty bowl for some chili*

Mmmm...chili.

We aren't getting cold, here. It's wind, and lots of it. Two pieces of siding are dangling off my house right now, waiting for DH to get home so we can nail them back in. I have them secured with some twine so they don't bounce all over and hurt someone. *sigh*

Mmmmm. Chili. Did Chris make it? 'Cuz in my book, he is the chili king.

We are having steaks. It was 70 here today. I took a half day.

Did someone say chili? That sounds really good right now. The wind and snow are blowing around outside and the power's flickering. I'm ready to pack my bags for California. I think I can live with an occasional earthquake. *giggle*

That is just not right. Minus anything in the weather department is just not right. *shakes head* I thought I would die of freeze today and it was 47 degrees.

It is currently 27 degrees in Texas and we have "freezing fog"
It won't be as cold as you are used to, but don't expect it to feel balmy either. It was mid 60's Sunday and it's be warn again on Thursday.
( Wait, Weds night? You may get some good weather)

Where in Texas will you be? What direction should I wave in?

We're getting snow. I hope it's missing you. I think it is.

Stupid snow.

Have fun in Texas! Let us know is it's true that everything's bigger there.

Stupid, stupid snow.

So my office christmas party was supposed to be today, but we moved it to tomorrow because of the snow. Good thing.

Mr. Fro just called. His entire trip work-to-home usually takes an hour at rush hour. 40 minutes if there's no traffic.

Right now, the estimate is FIVE HOURS.

Hate snow.

I'm complaining about this here because I know you hate snow, too.

I'll be in Longview, Buggy. Is that anywhere near you? If so, you'd better let me know! I'm leaving my heavy winter coat in the car and have my fall jacket packed.

Snow indeed sucks. We got about 6-8 inches at our house yesterday. I think Chicagoland got more. Poor Fro. It's miserable. I'm glad our flights aren't going through the midwest airports today. Friday night, we'll see what happens. I'm a bit nervous as another huge storm is on the way.

I have no comprehension of minus weather either. It's 39 degrees here, which is mind boggling to me. I hope it snows, just enough to play in. Now I see why people have wardrobes for the different seasons. Strange.

But what's shrinking?

Swami <--- missing the obvious stuff.

We got a little cold too, but as a registered Minnesotan I officially don't care. Plus 10', minus 10' - potaytoes, potahtoes. Same difference.
