Makin a list

Everything is going well and I'm not super stressed, but I'm starting to get nervous about some major deadlines approaching. In order of deadlines:

December 12th: Last day to get sh!t done before boss returns. One thing will take most of a day. Guess I should get cracking.

December 13th: Need to finish book for school

December 14th: Need to draft paper in addition to bake Christmas cookies with Sis that day.

December 17th: Need to turn in final paper that's due on the 18th, but I'll be traveling.

December 24th: Need to have Christmas presents wrapped.

December 31st: Need to have that one last Christmas present bought.

Next week I also have to get Ali's staples out (and I'm only here three days). I had also invited friends for drinks/apps while they were around during the holidays, but nobody's getting back to me with details of dates they're available (even though they "loved" the idea when I brought it up). I'm not offering anymore at this point.

Oh, I forgot a date! Jan. 2nd-Date I start bugging Boo about the 2009 3 Day.

Yes, you should probably get to work on the stuff for your Dec 12 deadline, what with that being tomorrow and all.

I say "get cracking" all the time. I think my kids hate to hear it.

How far along are you with that book? Or the paper. Gosh. You're going to be really busy for a couple days, aren't you.

Please consider this encouragement from me, since there's really nothing I can do to help.

*hugs*

I don't see my name anywhere on what looks to be such an important list.

Hmmmm.

I'm halfway done with the book. Taking notes while reading sucks, but is a necessary evil when writing a paper that should contain many quotes. I haven't even conceptualized the paper yet.

I added a special Boo note.

Ack! You sure did.

Um, I think you forgot something very important under December 12th. *grin*

Tomorrow I have work, then the wake, then grocery shopping, then home where my son and his girlfriend will be cooking me dinner for me.

Saturday I'm cooking a turkey and having 8 people over for dinner, I haven't had time to put any thought into this dinner. *sigh*

Sometime soon I need to do some Christmas shopping. Please don't let it snow again.

I'm so glad I don't have that many big deadlines!

I hate wrapping gifts on the 24th because they get ripped open almost right away. I like to admire the wrapped packages for a while and savour their package-y essence. Once I didn't open a package for weeks because it was so pretty.
