Cheddar laced with Irish porter today. Screw the wine cheese, I'm up for some beer cheese.
It was a productive weekend. I even scrubbed floors on my hands and knees and dusted heating vents/air returns.
To reward ourselves, we came back into Madison to play yesterday. I had $100 of birthday money burning a hole in my pocket. He had errands to run at hardware type stores. I bought a new tennis racket with some of my money. I'm soooo looking forward to playing this spring! I've never really played as a sport, more just in high school gym class and playing around with friends when I was younger. My super nice Prince was stolen in high school, so I needed something new. It's blue and yellow. I wanted the pink one, but it was $80. Oh, and this tennis talk reminds me that I have a bridal shower this month at a fancy country club. I need a new dress. I should ask Monsty what they wear at the club these days for events.
I also bought an el cheapo bookcase from Target. It was time and I have other things I'd like to spend money on. Like that cool $1200 outdoor kitchen at Target. *drool* :-)
We then went and watched basketball at a bar and had a great afternoon. *burp*

I might have the same bookcase. I saw it in the sales flyer yesterday for $20.
I haven't played since before I was pregnant. Well, actually I played once in the early stages of pregnancy, but I stopped because I was afraid of falling.
I miss it, but none of my regular players are playing right now either. We took a couple of lessons years ago - a very few lessons as a group.
I had really started to get into the groove of it when I became pregnant. Perhaps I will start again one day.
Yep-it was in the sale flyer this week!
You look like a tennis kind of girl, Boo. Does Pleasantville have courts nearby?
I spent an hour on my hands and knees last week and lemme tell you, my ass and arms were killing me the next day! How are yours?
Yay for tennis! :D I have to start thinking about getting new racquets. I need one that s tennis elbow friendly.
Some day, you two can join Monsty and me when we get together for our "someday" tennis match!
*smooch*
Nothing hurts, thank cod. Although I somehow hurt my shoulder while parallel parking a state minivan last week. How dumb is that?
*lofts tennis balls at MTW*
Irish cheddar with porter from Trader Joe's is wicked good.
I had a shit day.
My boss is a shit.
Reading people's blogs makes me smile.
I challenge you to a set of tennis. *stands like a tennis player*
I haven't played tennis since I took lessons in the 5th grade. I had the cutest little tennis skirt.
Does cheese make you burp?
We kind of have courts nearby. We used to have them at our pool, but no one ever used them, so they turned them into another parking lot.
The neighborhood across the street has them, and I could probably sneak in there if I wanted to. But I can always just go to the high school up the street. Or to one of the golf courses. There are places to play that are not too far.
Oh yeah, I also bought a tennis skirt from Target back in October because it was on sale for $4. Woo Hoo!!
I never played tennis because that was my Evil Sister's game.
Target's outdoor kitchen looks gorgeous, but I will settle for my lovely screen porch.
I took tennis lessons a few years ago.
I stunk.
