Bacon, leek and guyere puffs today.
1. Your weekend plans sounded fun! Sounds like everyone was out and about. Does Frodis have any cookies left for us?
2. The wedding was nice. Not super fun, but not bad at all. I have a very nice cousin in his 40s from Branson that rented an Elvis suit and showed up during the dance to boogie with the bride. That was very odd, but entertaining.
3. I'm not sure if it was the beer talking or what, but I volunteered our house to be the location of the 2008 family reunion (remember when we went to Branson in 05? That was the last reunion.)...eeek! The good news is that my dad will be eager to help finish some projects around our house that we need help with. :-)
4. I'm still watching Rock of Love, and that is pathetic. I think both psychos should have gone home last night.

Glad you had a good time.
Ack, I forgot to watch last night. Are you saying that the psycho chick that talked her way back into the competition on day one hasn't gone home yet? That chick is seriously missing a few nuts and bolts.
There are NEW psychos, bravie!
Well, no NEW contestants, just new mental states.
I spent most of my weekend up north on the couch with a horrendous headache. *pout* The highlight was seeing the video for Paisley's "Online" song. *snort*
I hope you are feeling better now, Breezy. Do you get migranes, or was it just a bad headache?
It was a PMS migraine combined with sinus migraine. I kept praying for the rain to come, but it never did. *pout*
I just saw my GMail quote of the day and had to run over here to post it before I forgot it.
Age is unimportant, unless you are cheese - Helen Hayes
Okay...now I'll go read your post.
Glad the wedding was nice and that you went. Not so sure I'd be glad about hosting the reunion, but really, it should be fun.
I saw Rock of Love listed on the TV thing last night. It skeered me so I never turned it on.
LOL, does that mean age is important if you are moi?
At least you won't have any airfare costs for the next reunion.
Nobody's ever called me Guyere Puff before.
Of course I have cookies! They're chocolate chips, but I doubled the chips so they're super-chippy.
Glad the wedding was fun!
I love super chipy cookies!
I was off on Friday, so didn't get to do the blog rounds.
Glad the wedding went well. Elvis guy sounds.... interesting.
On Saturday, I was in doing Dragon Boat racing. I'll just assume everyone knows what that is. We finished 11 out of 32 teams, and even won a race (our first time in 8 years). Considering we usually have a new crew every year, we were very pleased with the result. I also got my best tan of the year on Saturday from being out in the sun.
Sadly, we do not get Rock of Love in Canada. We'll likely see it around here next year sometime. Should I watch it?
Hey, you did pretty good on the race, Meemo! sounds like there were different events in the whole race?
Rock of Love is a good, guilty pleasure.
*pout*
I never get to see Elvis dancers!
Mondays suck. Especially the Monday after vacation.
I thought about you today. I bought our chairs. They are supposed to be here by next Wednesday. I was going to buy you the green one because of the Packers and all, but everything was back-ordered except the blue. So we will match.
I'm going to set up a little dork corner for us to read our books and giggle and gossip.
I'm actually a little worried for you having to spend so much time with me next week. Are you worried? Are you afraid?
I know nothing about this Rock of Love show. Who is the star? While flipping chanels last week, we stumbled across something that may have been it, but I couldn't bring myself to watch. Maybe because it had no gay men. I love me a good gay man. Not a "Joe" kind of gay man, but a "Dustin" kind of gay man.
If you want to adopt me as part of your family, I will come and help you with your reunion.
Glad you went and had a good time. No pics?
Ack! Having people over is always what really gets me to clean up. *hopes noone is coming over*
*giggle* I might be worried if you drink too much caffiene, boo!
I love that we'll have chairs! Thanks, Boo!!! Do you think we can blow them up ourselves or should I bring a pump? My pump is kind of big (no, that's not code), but could fit.
Rock of Love is with Bret Michael's from Poison.
