Meatloaf and other randoms

Little cheese pizzas today. I've had a pizza craving.

1. I'm making meatloaf tonight. Paula Dean made me laugh, but had a good idea. Line your pan with bread to soak up the grease (thus, the loaf won't sit in the grease). Then she proceeded to put bacon and cheese in her meatloaf.

2. I love grocery shopping. I love to browse the products. I love to price compare and read labels. I picked up some healthy snacks to have at work (that's been my downfall lately...unhealthy work snacks), but forgot the bag at home. :-(

3. I think I've figured out my next career move, but it's going to be a matter of finding open jobs. I'd like to work as a training coordinator (I do some of that in my job already). I would like to stay in the healthcare industry, but since I'm not a nurse, etc., those positions are almost non-existant for me. Thus, I'll continue to look at State positions and other industries. I'm considering getting a distance ed. certificate. Work would pay for the program and it's all online here at the UW. Not sure if it will benefit me that much, but it wouldn't hurt.

4. I watched last week's LOST last night. Very weird. I love Desmond, though.

5. I need a vacation, but it doesn't look like that will happen til May. I'm going to take a big chunk of time off to garden and landscape.

I don't like pizza. :(

1. But - then won't your meatloaf be sitting in mushy bread carp? Why not just put the loaf on a rack?

2. I hate grocery shopping! Please get me some stuff I need - since you like to shop & all.
Glad Forceflex garbage bags, large.
Dove Cucumber & (something) Bar Soap.
2% Acidophilous Milk.
Baby Carrots (real babies, not those machined carrot-cores.)

3. What is distance ed?

4. I gave up on LOST last year.

5. I can't wait for garden season! Remember - with global warming we can start gardening at the end of April!

1. I had some meatloaf yesterday. But I was very good and only allowed myself a half piece. (It's on the Grocery Store Hot Bar on Tuesdays - it's divine!)

2. I can't even talk about grocery shopping because I could do it everyday.

3. This is a big part of my job. A big part. I've been pretty excited this month because all of my classes are running like clockwork.

4. Uh yeah. I watched last week's FNL last night. Kyle Chandler, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

5. I am taking a day next Friday, and I am planning to take off some time in maybe April or May to do yardwork.

Paula Deen does not know the meaning of low fat. LOL But I love her. She was on Oprah a couple of weeks ago and she just totally cracked me up.

We had pizza last night. I had spinach and mushroom and Mr. Fro had sausage. It was in honor of Mardi Gras.

1. I love meatloaf. I've experimented with it a lot and finally hit upon a combination of ingredients that I really liked the last time I made it. I've found that meatloaf is sort of a personal, thing - everyone has their own idea of how it's supposed to be.

2. I love grocery shopping, too. I can spend hours browsing and reading labels and checking out new or interesting things, particularly in the vinegar and oils aisle, where all the little jars of odd condiments are.

3. You might consider working for a healthcare association in their education department. I'm not sure how many associations are in your area, but basically you'd be serving their membership in their continuing ed pursuits. Just a thought.

4. Desmond is hot. Dang.

5. I need a vacation too. I won't get one. :(

1. I was never a huge fan of meatloaf. Mom made it too much for us when we were kids. Although a recipe from Paula Dean with bacon and cheese? YUM!

2. Not a grocery shopper. DH does all of it since he's the primary person responsible for cooking. Plus he takes soooooo long. I get very bored.

3. Good luck with the career change. I am still trying to figure out where I want to go.

4. Don't watch Lost but am a hardcore FNL fan. Big Tim Riggins has me tuned in every week. YUM!

5. I svck at gardening. Would you come out and do ours for us?

1. I love Foreflex bags!

2. I will try the rack, and hope my meatloaf stays in tall loaf shape (all my racks are for big pans).

3. Distance ed...online learning. The certificate program focuses on teaching strategies, technology, evaluation, learning principles, etc.

4. Maybe I should just switch jobs with Boo for awhile.

5. Yay-others are crazy grocery shoppers, too!

6. Breezy, shhsh!

7. I didn't say I was any good at gardening. I just have fun doing it. :-)

Thanks for the reminder that I am neither going to Hawaii, nor seeing you on a layover in March.

April? Now that's more likely. These stupid people won't settle on dates.

The "liplicious" and Bigelow lip products are on sale. Not sure if that includes your lip gloss, though.

Paula Deen was on Today show today (?) I think and made stuffed French Toast - smoosh up bananas, walnuts and nutmeg - spread it on Challah bread slices- make a sammich, dip in egg, fry, and then eat with syrup poured over..

I think I'd do something different than bananas..but what?
