Let's move!

Little toothpick skewers of provolone, pecornio and salami.

Ok, let's pretend we all get to retire in a few years and get to move. Where are you retiring to and why? Or, are you staying right where you are?

Let's pretend again. North America has kicked you out. You must move somewhere else. Where are you going?

First off I just want my dream job has always and will forever be-- First Lady of the Untied States of America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We will move to Sydney. We went there for four weeks after we got married and fell in love with it.

(But also, we will have a villa in Tuscany and flats in London and Paris.)

Costa Rica, hands down.

When we retire we may move to southern Minnesota. It's much warmer down there, lol.

If North America kicks me out I would move to the British Isles somewhere. Or Hawaii, the Big Island.

Within the US, I am moving to Boston. No questions asked, easy question. Getting Michelle to go with me will be the problem. she said the only other place that she would live would be Lake Tahoe.
Outside of North America? *sigh* I don't want to leave my continent. Why are you making me? I don't want to go and you can't make me. that's that.

I will be traveling to visit all of Monsty's residences in my retirement. I won't need a house of my own.

Inishmore or Venice.

I think I will have a Basque lover too. Named Fernando, naturally. I don't see Mr. Monsty minding this much.

Mr. Monsty is so generous.

*hums old ABBA song*

Retirement? I'll be wherever family is, which likely means right where I am. I have no desire to move anywhere else in particular. I'll save my money for cruise tickets and maybe an RV.

If I have to leave N.A.? Well, I could see changing my name to Fernando and moving to Sydney. I also hear Costa Rica is the *it* place right now - cheap and politically stable.

I was going to move the West Coast of Canada.

If I leave North America, I will also mooch after Monty's house Fredrico.

Sydney for me, too. I want one of the houses on the harbour with the gigantic windows and the view of the bridge and skyline. We went there in 2005 and also fell in love with it.

In North America. . . hm. I'd like a little cabin in the mountains. Or, stay put. Maybe Palm Springs.

Ummm, yeah, no. I would never leave North America. As a matter of fact, I would likely never even consider Mexico.

I will retire (and hopefully live before retiring) in North Carolina.

I would have to live in Victoria if the US kicked me out.

I'm going to stay where I'm at, but I may winter in Florida. I hate this freaking cold weather.

But since I've now been kicked off the continent, I'm going to Ireland. I've always wanted to travel there - it just seems like it would be such a beautiful place. And god knows, I could listen to the irish accent for hours on end.

On second thought, I would go to Bermuda, if I have to leave. That's not part of NA is it?
