Randoms

1. They did not have to surgically extract my wisdom tooth that was popping through. It was so far out they just did a normal extraction and we were done in about ten minutes total. LOL! Thus, I didn't get the other upper out.

2. School is better. My one credit class is over. I got 100%. Of course, it's an intro to research class and well, I do that for a job, so I'd have been disappointed in myself not to get an A in an intro class! My other class is ok. I'm reading the Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin right now. I enjoy autobiographies, I just don't enjoy literary criticism. I just want to read!

3. I'm getting another student worker. My current one isn't very good. He's a nice young nursing student, and he's a minority in two senses, so myself and the minority student liason are doing some coaching. In the meantime, I need more help. My boss told the pre-nursing student chapter president we'd hire her. Well, that's all fine and dandy, but she has ZERO work experience, other than landscaping. Sigh. Hopefully she's brimming with potential. She has homecoming queen on her resume. Seriously.

4. I made some really yummy chocolate chip cookies yesterday. It was the cookie battle on Food Network Challenge. I was inspired.

5. I'm kind of getting into Chuck. Some OTers recommened it.

1. Yay for you. Hopefully the other will stay where it's supposed to and not cause trouble.

2. I think I could like autobiographies - not sure about Ben Franklin.

3. This is likely a stepping stone to including PTA. See, I can totally joke about that.

4. Have you signed up for the cookie exchange?

5. I think Michael watches it. I haven't yet.

*snort* I may have a future Ms. Palin coming to work for me!

In my effort to destress (and seeing as I'm not around much in November), there will be no cookie exchanging or secret santa-ing. Don't remind me of the fun I'm missing out on. Harumph.

Chuck reminds me of the show Ed for some reason. Only instead of a bowling alley & school, it's an electronics store & the CIA.

Thank goodness for the tooth. *smooch*
Ick, good luck with the work stuff. I'm sure it will all end up fine and dandy. :)
I want a cookie.
But boo for a Palin. *kicks Palin*

So no good drugs, eh? *grin*

Congrats on the A. I wish I could get interested in reading about Ben Franklin, lol. Good for you.

What's Chuck?

Dental issues can really be a drag. Glad your's was easily fixed.

Reading resumes is a good part of my job and I've stopped being surprised at what people list. I'm also no longer bothered by spelling and grammar errors, in fact I have come to expect them. *sigh*

I'm boycotting NBC on Monday nights because they cancelled Journeyman last year. *kicks NBC*
