I'm back from Boston, and am soooo sleepy. Boston is not my favorite city, but there were parts I liked. It was almost a little too tidy for me.
I had a peep meet with Lassan, her boyfriend, and AyaK. Yay!
I had an excellent time with Boo, even when she was being a bitch. :-)
I made lots of new friends, and had many laughs and tears while cheering on walkers.
I'm glad to be home and to see Chris and my kitties.
I'm not sure I'll be blogging much this week. Lots to do!

I could have used a little Lexapro to get me through all the tears. Perhaps next time I'll bring an air mattress that I can just toss when done. I will also bite the bullet and get in a day earlier. I started off running on four hours of sleep, and I know that was part of the problem.

Walk, crew, same cities or not, I encourage anyone thinking about it to just sign up.
I will say, I might HAVE to do it somewhere drivable in 2009. I spent soooo much money going to Boston this year (and Boston is so expensive in the first place), and that could've been better spent on a donation. That upset me. It upset me enough that I might not be able to be with my beloved Boo next year. And I'm ok with it, because it's about the cause and the big experience. I'll walk alone if I have to and tent with a stranger.
It will likely be Minneapolis or Chicago for me in 2009. I know Boo is looking at Boston again, or maybe Atlanta or San Fran. If another blogger would like to join me in the midwest, it would be perfect. If not, I understand. I may have some local friends I can convince to don a pair of sneakers. And if anyone is eyeing up SF, Boston or Atlanta, Boo I'm sure would be thrilled.

I think this all translates into, "Boo was such a focking bitch that I'd be happy for her to carry her aras back to Boston next year."
I would only crew Boston, not walk it. And I just sent you an email that I'm about 70/30 on walking. Minneapolis, is that the Twin Cities? That date would likely not work. Chicago might be better. There's always the Frodis bonus in Chicago.
