I have some leftover mild blue cheese from last night. Let's throw it on some buffalo chicken sandwiches. But let's not do that til about 11 a.m., mmmmkay?
Do you have the same sleep schedule as your mate?
Chris and I have always gone to bed at the same time & wake up around the same time. However, I'm wondering if I should alter this a little. I have a really hard time falling asleep unless I've been up late. But this may totally screw up my ability to get out of bed in the morning. And then I feel weird about us going to bed at different times...sort of that bonding thing you lose out on. And if he's already in snore mode around 11, I still probably won't be able to fall asleep. Sigh. So really, I just need someone to take an blunt object to my head around 10 p.m.

Tom and I almost always go to bed at the same time. He gets up a couple of hours before I do. He has to commute to an office, and I work part time from home. Lucky me!
He gets barely 6 hrs of sleep per night. I get 7 to 8.
Morgan and I always go to bed at the same time. *grin*
Are you suggesting a trade Chris for a dog? I think I'll do that before this weekend (we have to see MIL thanks to him NOT cancelling).
Sometimes we go to bed at the same time. But I fall asleep really fast whcih is good cause he snores really lound. A lot of times he stays in the den and watches baseball while I watch the Daily Show(I never make it this late anymore).
He wake sup before me. He has to be out to work at 7:30. I roll out of bed when he leaves. Unless our 32 year old gets into bed with mee which is a new habit he just started this week.
Your 32 year old gets into bed with you? 32 year old what?
I wish I could fall asleep fast. That's 100% of my problem. If I don't fall asleep fast enough, his snoring drives me insane.
Oops! 3 and 2 year old!
32 year old wouyld be creepy no?
LOL @ 32-year-old
DH works shifts, so we only go to bed together when he's on Days. On Afternoons, he usually gets to bed around 1 am, at which point, I'm all ready for bed, just playing around on the computer a bit. Then I try to let him sleep in. Not today, though. Oops.
DW and I are on completely opposite schedules. She's early to bed early to rise. I hate going to sleep and waking up.
She is a light sleeper so must be 100% asleep before I come into the room. Even better if she's already gotten 6 hours of sleep or so. I can sleep anywhere, anytime, and fall aslepp in seconds.
I don't know yet.
I'll keep you posted.
*not very lusty smooch*
DH has to be up early for work, which I don't, so he is in bed fairly early (by 10:30, usually) and I'm always up very late. I try to get to bed by 1am, but alot of times it's later than that.
We go up to bed at the same time but that does not mean that we fall asleep at the same time. I tell her to wake me up when it's time to go to bed.
In the morning, we are not even close. I am up about 2 1/2 hours earlier during the week and about 6 hours earlier on the weekends. No exaggeration on this either.
I have to get in bed first. I need my alone, unwind time. For about an hour before I fall asleep, I watch HGTV. I set the sleep timer. If Mr. Nutz goes in there first, I get frustrated and out of sorts because he puts on Speed Channel or something otherwise noisy (like an action movie) that I can't fall asleep to, plus he messes up the bed. Horribly.
He gets up before me at 6:30 to leave the house by 7 - 7:15. I won't get out of bed until he's gone because he's a morning person and I'm a grumpy fool until I've had my coffee.
I prefer not to go to bed together. I sometimes toss and turn initially and when Michael is there, I feel like I have to be super still.
Plus I am more comfortable and can fall asleep better faster and better if I know I'm not the last person to fall asleep.
Boo-I also hate being the tosser & turner!
I'm selfish in bed. No wait, that's not what I meant.
Start over.
I'm a selfish sleeper. I don't care if I toss and turn or snore or talk or whatever. If she doesn't like it, she can kick me just like I kick her.
Luckily we have a memory foam bed so the tossing and turning doesn't so much affect the other one.
May I please have the 32 year old since no one else seems to want him?
YES, I go to bed and get up with myself at the same time every single day.
HEHEHE!
*grin*
Late arrival here.
DH and I have fallen into the habit of putting on cartoons (family guy, etc.) at 10:00 pm and settling in to snooze on the couch for an hour or so before trundling off to bed.
And we refuse to have a TV in the bedroom. Well, more like I refuse. Bedroom is for sleeping (ahem, and other things) and the living room is for tv.
Maroonclown: We have a TV in every room except for Conner's room for that very reason. I can fall asleep with it on, but he would be up all night.
