Being the Winner

Carey says she wants provolone & Ritz crackers and her wish is my command.

Are you competitive? Do you know someone that is?

Does it drive you INSANE? It drives me insane.

Not at all. I was never into sports either. I do like winning and secretly wish to win if I'm competing in something (like a board game), but I don't get crazy. It's not fun playing a game with someone that is extremely competitive. DH & my step-sons are sooooooo competitive. I went golfing with them once (I rode the cart .. didn't play). That was the LAST time I ever went with them. I was almost in tears by the end of the game. They are all a bunch of whiny angry players. No fun at all. They aren't like that when playing board games though, thankfully.

I like to play board games for the enjoyment, the fun and laughs. It's no longer fun when people get angry at eachother.

I'm one of the most competitive people that I know. Although I am not a bad loser when it comes to games and sports, I absolutely hate to lose. I like to play with people who are better than I am though because I enjoy the challenge.
I'm not as bad as I used to be.

*munches on Ritz and provolone*

I have a couple of friends that are competitive of each other and want me to take sides. It drives me insane.

Oh yeah? Well I bet it drives me more insane than you! I WIN!! *grin*

Actually, I'm like Nookie. I do hope to win in games or whatever, but I don't go all crazy if I lose. It's no big deal to me.

Having played a million different sports growing up, my brothers and I are very, very competitive. It's terrible, but I usually won't compete in something where I know I can't win. *GAH*

I heard that this was the place to come for cheese.

I'm competative when it comes to games, I don't hate to lose, but I try really hard not too. I like to be right, and I like to win.
Real life issues, I'm totally easy going.

I am very competitive, but I'm not obsessed with winning. I like to compete, I love to win, and I always try my hardest to win. But if I don't? I'm over it in a heartbeat, and revel in the fun I had competing.

The competition aspect helps me exercise. There must be a score and preferably a ball to maintain my interest (puck <-- same as a ball)

Hi Buggy! I only forget to put out cheese when I'm really angry. Or you might find it all gone after Bob has made a trip through. *oink oink*

You probably never want to play a board game with me...

I tried to answer your question over at my place.

I like to play well. When I'm playing the same games over & over with people, like card games with the family, I like it to average out to more or less even.

I don't need to win all the time, but if I lose all the time I will not be playing that game anymore.

My husband's oldest sister is irrationally competitive and always trying to one-up you on the most inconsequential of things. Conversation with her is impossible and insanely boring. I am so glad she lives out of state and we only have to interact once or twice a year. If she lived nearby, eventually I would have to kill her.

I am competitive, but I am a good loser (if I do say so myself) and don't throw a fit if I lose.

That being said, I once had a boyfriend who was the WORST sport in the world, so I do have to say I loved beating him in anything and rubbed it in his face completely when I beat him. *grin*

I guess I need to be mre specific. When it comes to competition (individual especially) I usually won't participate unless I have a really good shot at winning. When I compete, I compete to win and give it my very best, every time. So it's hard to lose. Plus, for some reason, I am embarrassed when I lose, like people are laughing at me.

When it comes to team sports, board games, whatever, I love close matches, even if we lose. I hate to be on either side of a blow out. It's not fun to lose that way and it's no fun to win that way.

I hate hate loosing. I am typically someone you can't come around after loosing a game. Except I became used to it in 5, 7 and 8th grade because I won 1 games in those 3 year and lost like 30 times. 6th grade we went to the city final four. I absolutely hated those years. I am competetive and I knwo I am one of those people who drives you crazy.
