Today's post is brought to you by mozzarella. Nolay made fried cheesestix yesterday & I ate one against my better judgment. He's having fun using his new deep fryer.
Anywho, I'm feeling lots better. It still hurts where the big incision is & sleeping on my back really sucks. I did get some sleeping tips from pregnant peeps about using pillows under my butt & thighs. And I was wrong...I thought pregnant women were supposed to sleep on their backs. It's actually now their sides...who knew?
I went out to a bar for a few hours on NYE with Chris & some friends. We then returned to friend's house for games, etc. It's a new house & they make you take your shoes off in the garage. How rude is that? Keep in mind it's Wisconsin & the garage is cold. They have laminate floors inside the door. Could they at least put a rug INSIDE the door for us to remove our shoes?
I'm in lvoe with our new Scene It Music game. Electroninc CatchPhrase is also quite fun.
Ok, I'm done rambling. Going to snuggle with cats & watch the rain.

Nolay can come to Baltimore to make cheesesticks!
I hope your recovery continues to go well. It sounds like snuggling with the cats and watching the rain would be a great way to spend the day.
Ummm... I think most of us think we are boring, so don't think you're abnormal or anything. *wink*
Happy snuggling!
Scene It Music? Why haven't I heard of this? I must run out and get one.
Glad you're feeling better.
NUMMY! Cheesesticks...btw HD, I don't think cheesesticks should be on the menu when you are trying lose weight!
I saw Michael Chiarello (sp?) on The Food Network make cheesesticks by baking them...they looked wonderful. Now I want cheese!
That is strange about taking your shoes off in the garage. I wan't guest to feel comfortable at my house so I don't say one way or another. I actually wear shoes in my house alot.

I always take off my shoes when I go to someones house. If my hosts insist (and are wearing shoes) I'll leave them on, but it makes me uncomfortable.
It's a growing up in muddy area thing.

*puts on shoes*
I take my shoes off too. Years ago, my church got a new pastor, who was from Alabama. He told us that among the things he had to get used to was taking his shoes off in a house. I figured that leaving shoes on was a Southern thing.
Anyway, doesn't everybody have the little mat by the heat vent or the space under the coatrack for the shoes? You'd think there'd be a little carpetted place to take them off so you don't freeze your feet.
Glad you're feeling better.
Um. What the heck is this? I have to accidently stumble upon your blog like some second class citizen?
That's it. I am taking away your cheese hat.
Yep, me too. I always remove my shoes, unless the host says don't. *shrug*
I try to remember to wear thick warm socks when we go to other's houses. *grin*
*smooch* Glad you're doing better.
Glad to hear you are feeling better. Actually, I was sorry to read that you were getting an operation and then glad to read that you are better. *grin*
