- I had a 3:30 meeting on Friday. Bad idea. I ended up with a load of work to do this weekend. *pout*
- I still feel carpy, although I can tell I'm improving from my cold.
- We watched The Talented Mr. Ripley this weekend, as I'd recently read the book (ok, so I'm like 10 years behind). Wow, was it weird.
- I miss Halloween fun. At least I've convinced Chris to celebrate St. Patty's Day. I get one day to dress silly and drink.
- I made ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans and apple crisp last night. It was good cold-weather comfort food.
ETA:
- We've been watching The Next Great American Band on Friday nights. Yes, we have no life. There are three or four bands I really like. One is country *gasp!*, one is bluegrass *gasp* and the other two are kind of indescribable. If anyone else is watching, I will go look up the bands' names so we can compare notes. I think the country band is SixWire or something like that and the bluegrass one is the Clark Brothers (former members of the country band The Clark Brothers Experience of five or so years ago). Just went and looked...Franklin Bridge and The Likes of You are the other two I really like. I hope Franklin Bridge wins.

Mmmm, I love scalloped potatoes.
Tonight we are going to Harry's Hof Brau for dinner. Mmmm, I can't wait for the Roast Beef platter. My favorite there.
*steals all of the leftover apple crisp*
Do I need to talk to Chris?
*eats genuine Wisconsin cheese curds* For real! Tom and Max went on a road trip on Saturday and got some. Not Cajun though. These are tossed with some kind of green herbs. Taste pretty good.
Ham is my least favorite meat of all time. I just don't like it at all. But I love green beans more than just about any other veggie!
Never seen the Ripley flick.
Yes, you have no life. *winks*
You?!?! A country band?!?! First Kenny Rogers and now this?!!? I feel like I don't know you anymore.
*sob*
pffffttt you were supposed to Jeffffff DunHAM on Friday night.
That should have said watched, not sure where my watched went. Has anyone seen my watched?
breezy, i don't think your big pimp daddy pays you enough to be watched.
Had I read your blog before I left on Friday, I would have.
*looks for Breezy's watched*
Hey, *I* needed comfort food! Can you make me some, please?
Umm, wasn't the watched over in Carey's blog, hanging on some guys neck?
*snort* I just realized that guy was supposed to be Flava Flav! I just thought he found some viking hat to wear.
I'll just have some green beans if any are left. I'm not the biggest ham person and, while I love scalloped potatoes, they are not my friend these days.
I have never seen that movie or read that book.
I think I'm going to have a Halloween party next year.
Sorry your weekend sucked! Sorry for having to work!!
Yay for football.
Can I come to your Halloween party next year?
Are you ready for some fooooootballlllll? *gets out pom poms* Ok, is there anyone not cheering for Green Bay? *gives everyone the suspicious eye*
I'll be cheering for them!
*sigh* Isn't my hubby dreamy?
I think those are my favorites too. I missed last week though. Glad they are still in it. I like Franklin Bridge and Clark Brothers the best.
The country singer looks like Sawyer.
mmm. That sound like a really good dinner.
I have NGAB taped but haven't watched yet. Can you believe that? I've had to tape it on my computer. Friday nights is a bad night. I have my Timmy and my vampire at 9. I keep hearing good things about Franklin Bridge.
Breezy's husband IS dreamy. I loved all the segments last night. And btw, Breezy, your southern accent was really showing last night, but your hair was looking gorgeous during the booth interview.
GLOW! I was surprised not to see you posting about the NGAB, but realized it was competing with FNL. :-)
Zombie, you have good taste.
Work is shiaty busy this week. Not sure if I'll be able to post much.
