Cheese straws (those crisp & flaky cheese flavored snack sticks) today.
It's been a super busy week. I was gone from the office Monday and at home yesterday (although I had three hours of phone conferences and other work to do), so there hasn't been much time to get everything done.
Yesterday I got my teeth cleaned and the furniture delivery came. They brought the wrong dresser and were missing a piece of the entertainment center. Yeesh. Not to mention the scratches on the bed. We called the manager last night with a list of the issues and I think it's all being resolved. I say "we" called because while I started out on the phone, "the angry husband" grabbed the phone at one point. All worked out in the end. We are picking up the dresser and missing entertainment center piece, so our delivery charge was refunded. The whole process was very disheartening. There is no teamwork at that place.
Anyway, the bed looks nice and the armoire is huge, but fits ok. The cats love climbing on everything. I'm still waiting for attacks from above at night (the headboard is very "perchable").
Best of all? Chris said, out of the blue this morning, "I think a little darker shade of green would look better on the walls." *hop*

I'm hungry. Came for some cheese.
I'm hungry. Came for some cheese.
oh and look at that. Wonder why it double posted.
Glowie is double-hungry.
That's too bad about your furniture delivery, but I'm glad that you like it. Buying bedroom furniture was the thing that made me feel like a grown up.
LMAO.
Can't reply.
*laughing*
*snort*
*giggle*
Darker?
*snicker*
Shade?
*snort*
Green?
LMAO
Okay, I think I'm thru laughing for a minute. Of course, I'm going to have to give Chris MAJOR shit over this.
The bedroom furniture was scratched? Super suck. Will they fix it or refund a portion of your money? Glad they are at least refunding the delivery charge since you have to pick up some stuff.
Did you buy new bedding and curtains yet?
LMAO again. I cannot look at this without laughing at your husband.
I just came back to *giggle* a little more.
Well now I just feel plain dumb. Why is momma laughing??
Sorry mm, I'm actually laughing at Chris, who threw a major fit over Kim wanting to paint the bedroom.
Isn't it awesome, momma? I haven't looked at bedding and such. My boss mentioned a gift certificate for Christmas to do that, so I might hold off.
They are sending a furniture retoucher over (well, I have to call to have him come over) at no charge. I'm fine with that. They style we picked is discontinued, so a replacement piece would be tough to find. The bedrail is covered up with a bedskirt, anyway. The footboard is my big concern.
*gives glowie more cheese sticks*
Ahh, ok. *laughs with momma*
I want to see pics, Kim!
I took a pic of the bed and armoire, but of course, didn't download them yet.
Ooooh! A gc for Christmas?! Wait. This negates the deal. Maybe. Hmm...should we renegotiate for more clothes, since he was willing to give up cash for bedding and curtains?
I want a new bed!
The money is going to picture frames instead, momma. We have nothing on the wall and about 8 pics to frame. Ok, so he hasn't agreed to this yet, but he will. He likes pictures.
He's away at training for a few days, so I went an picked up paint samples to narrow down.
Just come and live with me, Breezy. I'll kick Chris out of bed. He snores, anyway.
Chris can come and stay with me. I snore too. But he will have to deal with either red walls in the 49er room or lavendar walls in the master bedroom.
When we bought our bedroom set, they brought the wrong end tables. grrr.
You just wish everything would be perfect.
Yay that you get to paint the room as you wanted.
Can Chris hang some Packer stuff in the 49er room? Then it might be ok. I think you already had a few things in there, anyway.
