Today's Cheese

Hm. A blog. I never thought a blog was for me. I think I'll keep this my little sanctuary away from real life.

I think I shall start out every entry with "Today's Cheese"...thus today, it shall be Dill Havarti. Why? I had a few slices on a cheese tray today. It pleased my pallette.

I'm stuck working today. Why? I COULD have taken the day off, but someone really should be in the research office & the other staff really wanted off. I had no need to be off. Chris has to work anyway, so I guess I might as well be here. The problem is that I'm totally tired.

Next week I have my gall bladder removed. It's been problematic for at least three years. They just diagnosed my problem in October after a trip to the ER. I'll be so glad to feel better. If you've never had gall bladder problems, you're lucky. It's torturous pain.

Hi, weltek! Welcome and stuff!

My Dad had gal bladder problems for years. He was on an very restricted diet for a while. That was sad because Dad loves such a variety of foods. He was so much happier after the surgery.

Good luck!

Welcome to the blog world! I'm a blog newbie, myself. How exciting to get those first few views and comments! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and good luck on the operation. Will it be a laser operation and can you save your gall bladder after they take it out?

Hellow weltek! You don't have to dress up over here and feel free to wear your cheesehead all the time.

Ihope you don't mind cervixes and tentacles.

puffy,
Yep, it's laproscopic (just 4 incisions). The chief of surgery at UW Hospital is doing it, so I really have no fear! My gb will be toast, but he assures me I don't really need it. Who knew? We'll see how those cheesecurds go down after it's out. :-)

Yeah, Gallstones are evil. It was very painful for me to listen to my friend whining when she had hers.
