Surgery Day

Grab some cheddar, place a nugget on your head & think of me today. I go in for my gall bladder surgery and really hope they can do it laproscopically. If they get in there & can't get it out, they have to do full abdominal open surgery. Pain is much worse and recovery time is quadrupled. So I'm REALLY hoping this whole laproscopic thing works out.

I'm at work right now (I work in the same builidng as the hospital where I'm getting it done) and in some fancy clothes: big sweatshirt, running pants and red converse slip-on shoes. And I'm wearing my glasses, which I've NEVER done at work! I'm feeling pretty hot.

I'll hopefully be feeling well enough to play on here & OT by Thursday. *smooches*

ETA: Anyone that wants to put a linky to my blog is more than welcome to.

I will be linking you today!

BTW: My cousin had the gall bladder surgery you are going in for and she had no problems. It was done laprascopic and she was fine in a couple of days. I will be hoping this can be done for you as well!

Please let us know how things go as soon as you can. As I said over at that other place...{{{HUGS}}}

Sending you good thoughts Weltek!!

When I had my little procedure last month, I forgot about the contacts and had to throw them away -- and I had just opened that pack two days earlier.

*smooch*

I hear ya, boo! The patient education person that went over everything with me NEVER mentioned anything about contacts. I said, "I suppose I shouldn't wear my contacts." She said, "Probably not." Probably? Sounds like a definite to me!

I had it done laparoscopically back in 95, and my recovery time was less than a week. I hope it'll be the same for you.

*big smooch* and good luck!
