Update on the job & life

Let's have some Alouette cheese spread (if you haven't tried it, head to your fancy cheese aisle) in the garlic & herbs flavor. It will give us great morning breath.

First, I have some housekeeping. I'm not sure if Nookie noticed her honor as the only linkage on my blog. HistoryDetective (best.picture.ever) noticed . No wonder he's in grad school. Such a smarty pants. I wish I could visit you blog more, HD, but I usually only access it from work & am afraid of someone walking by & seeing mancandy photos. Hence, that explains why I haven't cruised by Sonya's blog lately either. I'm not a fuddy duddy, I'd just hate to have someone figure out my internet addiction & fire me. :-)

Week one of the new pt job is almost over. Today is the first day I've felt drained. Two more weeks left. There was some confusion over the training schedule and whether it went two or three weeks. It's three weeks at 5 days/week. Rather unfair for those of us that signed on for pt jobs.

The job itself is fine. I think we'll like it once we are out of training. Training just requires a constant stream of talking & it wears on the voice. Chris and I were among the three people with 100% on our screen macro test last night so we got to bug out 15 minutes early. When we got to the car he admited he kind of cheated. What a dork.

Things with Chris and I are going well. Some of you know that last year we hit a rough patch. It was a combination of him needing some counseling due to work-related stress and also just a lot of things from his past that were piling up. We also have some marital stuff to work on, but we are making a conscious effort to deal with that on our own. I can't remember the last time we had a full blown argument, so that is good news!

Have a great weekend!

I actually did notice my linkage oh beautiful Kim! I even posted back to you that I loved you. Can't remember who's blog it was in though LOL. Thank You sweetie! You are my mostest favorite. *SAMOOOOOOOOOOOCH*

I can't imagine how tiring 3 weeks of full on training would be. I'm very impressed with you both.

I'm also happy to hear that things on the homefront are going well. *HUGS*

Have a terrific weekend! I know I will *grin*

*sticks tongue out at Bob*

I'm looking forward to hearing about the training and the job. It sounds so intriguing.

He had his study sheet face down under his blank test sheet. If he pressed down hard enough, he could see the correct answers.

We shadowed actual calls last night to/from deaf & hard of hearing peeps. I wish I could tell you about the call content. It was pretty entertaining. I hope I never get a phone sex call. I would have giggle pants, as would everyone sitting around me!

*smooch* to the Wisconsin folks for working on things. I'm glad that you chose to work on them rather than just giving up. And kudos to Chris for caring enough to get some help.

Mm.. cheese. I didn't have lunch.

Glad to hear your job is going well and that you are not arguing.

My friend lost her voice. She is not deaf, but was unable to talk on the phone. So we used someone like you to communicate via the phone line.

I love alouette cheese.

*whispers in case Weltek is catching a nap*

Hang in there Weltek. I'm sure it will be much better once the training is over. Think of the money! *grin*

Rough patches suck, don't they? We went through some really big stuff last year too. I'm really happy to hear that things are going better for you and Chris. I love having both of you on OT and I always look for your posts.

*hugs*
