- Spending money on home repairs
- Sugarland's remake of "Life in a Northern Town"
- Having to work when there's so much to do at home that's more fun
- Getting a $100 ticket for running a red light during our visit to Chicago for the 3 Day (came in the mail...apparently I did not notice the "no right turn on red" sign at the intersection and it was caught on camera. Guess I missed that as I was trying to navigate an unknown area of Chicago during rush hour. Grr.)
- Husband's that know you asked a question, but for whatever reason, don't answer you.
What sucks in your life right now?

I'm sorry that so many things are sucky, Kim.
I agree that spending money on home repairs sucks big-time. We have to do something about our little upstairs bathroom and I'm just not in the mood to deal with it.
Having to work. . . at all. . . sucks. Unless you love your job. I envy people who love their jobs.
Did you get the ticket from Chicago or a suburb? The suburbs are a little meaner about those red light cameras.
The housing market sucks. Big Time.
Time is flying by too fast. That sucks, too. I'm feeling very "STOP THE WORLD I WANT TO GET OFF" lately.
There are a fair number of things that suck for me at the moment but this week has been good, all things considered, and the weather has cooled off and everyone is healthy, so I'm trying to tone down my inner crank. It's not easy.
Having an inner crank who won't shut up sucks.
Northbrook, Fro. At least it's not any points and doesn't get reported to insurance companies (though I suspect if the insurance company runs a random check, it would show up).
The housing market does suck. Have you decided if you are going to put your house up for sale? I know, the timing is terrible.
*hands Fro the pause button* It's like the "Easy" button!
Know what doesn't suck? My oatmeal cookies with dark chocolate chips. *munch*
Sorry about the major suckitude going on in your life right now but it will get brighter, especially with the zrhelp of oatmeal cookies with dark choco chips.
My working environment is particularly sucky right now.
Money Pit repairs totally suck. You have to spend big bucks to stay in about the same place. Sucks.
I have never got a camera ticket. MN tried to ban them but I forget if it worked or not. Theory was that it's drivers who should get tickets, and camera just tickets car's registered owner.
My Suck List:
Grown up kids are just too busy to interact with mom unless she is paying for something.
My right knee hurts when I walk.
I have no oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I do have leftover cheesecake in the fridge which is calling to me. And calling to me, and calling to me....
I'm fairly suck free today, actually.
1. Home repairs do suck, as well as car repairs.
2. Haven't heard it. Interestingly enough, I heard two Sugarland songs this morning.
3. Agree. Michael will be out of town this weekend, so I'm hoping to clean the upstairs and shampooo the living room carpet.
4. Tickets suck!
5. Agree again.
My Sucks:
1. Work situation. Duh.
2. The current sunrise/sunset schedule. I can no longer bike at 5:30 because it's too dark. I could get a light for the bike, but I'm still a little nervous. I've been having to wait until 5:45 or 6, and that's pushing my schedule.
3. 80 degree weather and people wishing for fall. It's only summer for 3 months out of the year.
4. August sucks for my wallet. I've had no extra income classes this month.
5. Brett. Really dude, make up your mind.
Yes, the plan is still to sell the house and move. Some days I'm on board with it and some days I am not. The plan is to spend the winter making little repairs and fix-ups and go for it in the spring.
The timeline sounds do-able, Frodis. Hopefully the housing market will look a little better then. We may never see returns to the early 2000 levels (nor do I think we want to), but some improvement would be nice.
