Ouch!

I've been having neck pain and headaches for about a week now. I rarely have headaches, so it's a bit disconcerting. I frequently have neck pain, though, so no surprise there.

I could be a hypochondriac and assume it's meningitis. Just to feel better, I should take my temperature and see if it's running high.

More likely it's just either snow shoveling or bad posture catching up with me.

I see the doc on Friday for my annual exam. I am afraid to mention it, lest she think it worthy of testing for meningitis (spinal tap!). Let's hope I feel better by then. I've been doing stretches, but should be strengthening my core a little more.

Wow - It's like you're channelling Bravie. But if the headaches are worse every day then don't wait until Friday. Escalation is always a Bad Thing.

Don't ignore it. You've read my blog.

So suck it up and get it checked out, ya big chicken!

Good news-I don't have a fever! My body temp usually runs a hair low, and last night it was 97.8 at two different time points, so I'm not overly concerned. To add to that, my coworker has been having the same problem. We think it's shoveling related from the 15 (or more) inches of snow last week. For our first time shoveling this year, it was prime for muscle exertion.
