This blog is a collection of things on my mind. Could be serious, could be rambling idiocy. I invite you all to read, debate, ridicule, *whack*, and even give me a little love.

The President is Here
It's kind of exciting. President Obama has just landed in Madison and is off to Wright Middle School, a very diverse charter school, to interact with students, teachers and education leaders, then give an education speech.
It was a really quick visit and the audience was VERY limited. Mostly politicians. He apparently was hosting a party back at the White House that night.
Still, it was fun to have the POTUS here in our little midwestern city for a big speech. There were surprisingly no protests or such.

What fun! Are you going to try and see him?
Very exciting! Take pictures if you go.
How exciting! Are there any protests and worries about him daring to speak to school kids? *snorfle*

I recently partied with the next governor of Va. I know, not the same.
That is exciting.
My buddy took a picture of his arrival up in CT. He's not a big Obama fan but was still excited about it.
