I'm enjoying my last few weeks of freedom from School. Classes start again on the 9th. Speaking of the 9th, our wedding anniversary is 9/9, it will be our 9th anniversary, Chris has his annual sups conference at 9 a.m. that day...we should probably buy a lottery ticket.
I'm enjoying my more flexible schedule by deciding not to do a few things in realation to our upcoming houseguests. I will not vacuum screens of all the cat fur. I did this in June, but they are all fuzzy again. I also will not leather-polish the furniture and will not go frantic about my flower beds, as it's the end of the season anyway.
This weekend we are heading to MIL's. She wanted to come and visit us, but I want to steal landscaping rocks from her land (she lives in an association with acres upon acres of rocky woodland). Plus, that give us more control over the length of the visit. :-)
Final word: My sister's new golden retriever puppy just might be the cutest puppy ever, and I've seen a lot of puppies (including their other two goldens). I really should've grabbed my camera last weekend.

It is not necessary to polish leather furniture except for maybe once every few years. This is what my leather furniture guy said.
What's a sups conference?
Is 9 your lucky number in other ways? This is like your Golden Anniversary then - 9x9x9 in '09.
I know what you mean about controlling the length of visit!
I can't imagine that length of time with my MIL. It's probably better that we live relatively close to each other so no overnights are involved.
Cat people are ok with cat fur.
She only does those things when I visit.
Remember the dirty garbage can I gave you? That was on my "won't be done list" for your visit. :-)
