Four days

Four business days seems like a long time to do a damage assessment on a car. We know it will be totalled, but need the assessors stamp of approval before we go out and get another car loan. It's the smart thing to do. There's still a very, very small chance it might not be totalled, so we need to wait. Oh, and we have gap insurance, so if we owe more than they total it out at, we won't be upside down. Yay!

In other news, I am tired. I was off my multi-vitamin for awhile, but just started back up. Hoping it will give me some energy!

I'm very much dreading Christmas shopping. I'm trying to cut back on cost, so it will be a difficult task to watch the pennies and find a good gift.

I'm allergic to vitamins.

DBF's truck is totalled to0, only had PLPD on it though and MI is a no-fault state. *sigh*

I'm making 90% of my gifts this year. I've already started!

The gift of Boo is priceless. *grin*

Good Luck on your car. I hope you get what you need. I actually thought about you this weekend, wondering what kind of car you would be getting.

I'm not committed enough to take vitamins. I always buy the bottle, am good about taking them for a week then I just forget.

It truly is a waste of money.

Good luck on the car. Sounds like a total pain in the ass.

I think I'm making a lot of "mix in a jar" items for gifts this year. I printed out some recipes to try. Sounds like less hassle and consumables are always good.

We might be buying a used SAAB 9-3. We found a dealer that wants to get the two used SAABs off their Audi and Porsche lot. Our short list was less than 30K miles, less than $15K, some warranty left and 30 MPG or more. We also wanted something more comfy than the Neon. We tried some Corollas-hated them. We also tried some Sentras-meh. One didn't even start.

So, other than the SAAB, our short list is a Civic, Accord and Impala. We priced everything out, including fuel consumption and the Civic is most expensive (over 5 years) for the least comfortable car, so that fell off the list.

I can always tell when I stop taking my vitamins.
I think you should buy a Smart Car. They are cute.

I actually looked at a used Smart Car. It was $23,000 used. Yikes! And I'm thinking they don't handle the best in unpredictable Wisconsin weather.

My vote is for a Mini Cooper. I'm in love with my sister's car, I covet that car. We drove an hour and a half thru Gustav, which had been downsized to a tropical storm but the wind was still whipping and it barely budged. If she gets eaten by a lion I get the car.

Good luck on car shopping.

I think the "mix in a jar" thing sounds like a good idea.

Can I just tell you that I would probably make the worst car-buying decision ever? I don't have enough patience.

The purchase of my Chevy Corsica is still pretty much a sore subject in our house. Oh well.

I have a 9 year old Volkswagon and I like it a lot. When I bought it I'd planned to keep it 10 years but it's still great and I have no intention of unloading it any time soon.

I take vitamins. Big purple ones. They make my fingernails grow.
