I agree with Buggy, drinks and FOOD!
I think if I had marriage to do over, I wouldn't have a shower. Sure, I got a few hundred dollars worth of gifts, but I saw all those people a few months later at the wedding and in the long run? We probably only use half those gifts.
Of course now, if you don't register for a $300 stand mixer, $300 comforter, $200 sheets, a $100toaster and $800 cookware, it's odd. It would be fun to compare the average dollar value of gift registries every five years.

Bike. I forgot to say "bike". I don't do jogging - bad knees. And I prefer my bike stationary, tyvm.
Ok, fine. I'll dust off the bike this weekend. Yep, I'm just starting to have knee issues, so I should start finding alternate forms of excercise. Guess I wasn't meant to be a runner. Yes, I know. It's probably because I'm fat that my knee is hurting. *grumpy face*
