I was thinking of Christmas gifts. A little early, I know. Would it be cheesy to give friends and relatives a grouping of my "favorite things" from this year, a la Oprah (well, a cheapskate Oprah)? How would you feel if you got something like that? Should the gift be more about things the person has expressed they'd like?
I'd like to receive something like that, as I'm all about trying new things. But maybe I'm weird.

You are way early. Sheesh Christmas. I was just happy to find something for Rob's birthday that he's going to love!
But yes. I would love getting something like that!
I think it's a good idea. I gave Lush stuff last year, so I normally do give away my favorite things.
I was running a mental list of my favorite things so far this year, and had to get the Christmas idea onto "paper" so I wouldn't forget.
One of my things is your magnetized bookmark, Breezy. :-) I may have to commission you.
I think it's a great idea! And if you start now, you won't feel the financial hit so much, right?
Exactly, MM!
So... are m&ms one of your favorite things? *grin*
Just the green ones. :-)
I want a commission from Breezy. I'm the one who told her how great those were. She is always stealing my good ideas. No wonder I don't like her very much. Hrmph.
I think I will lock my second one in a secure place during the rib-cookoff. It's on my bookshelf and someone might steal it, since it's so cool.
*rolls eyes* I knew about those bookmarks way before blondie said something about them.
Sounds like a good idea, but geeeeze CHRISTMAS?!!!!
Oh, I thought you were getting ready to send me Sir Mix a Lot.
Perhaps I'll need to lock him away if you ever home to visit. Thanks for the heads up, Boo. *suspicious look*
And it's STir Mix A Lot, TYVM.
Where's my CD?
Where's my CD?
I should spend less time talking to all of you and more time burning the cd. :-)
We always make lists and give people what they want on it. But then I like it when people surprise me with stuff not on the list. So your way sounds fun.
That's a great idea!
