Brie with a chardonnay and blueberries, accompanied by baguette slices for you today.
Coyote at Quizno's...http://www.channel3000.com/news/11517269/detail.html
I'm going to start watching Entourage season 1 tonight. We don't get HBO, so I've never watched it. However, I love Jeremy Piven.
I would like to cook a gourmet meal this weekend. I've been out of the cooking mode for awhile, just tossing easy stuff together. Since we are not attending a family event on Easter Sunday, maybe I will make one then.
I've been feeling quite upbeat lately, although work is dragging me down a bit. My boss is gone and we have three major projects in full swing, plus all that regular everyday stuff. I feel like I'm getting pulled in a billion directions. I just keep taking it day by day.
ETA: I forgot to say something last week about the Sophie/banana thing in MTW's blog. After consideration, I DON'T feel sorry for the picking on Sophie at all. Thank you all for setting me straight on who I should feel sorry for. I feel worst for Nookie. She spend the money, time and effort into getting the banana tour up and running and spent time trying to pry it out of Sophie. Long live Nookie!

Would you please cook for me? So far, I have nothing planned for an Easter meal. Not that Easter is a big deal to me.
I always threaten to serve rabbit, but I never have. What are you going to prepare?
So what time should we be there for Easter dinner? *grin*
I must go search for inspiration.
My neighbor's rabbits are always in my yard *evil grin* we could have rabbit for Easter.
So does that mean Swami and I are invited over to prepare your rabbits?
I love Entourage. Love it. I think the new season starts up soon. Yay!!
Long live the spongemonkeys! Man, I loved those things. I could be in the worst mood, and they would still make me laugh. *fond sigh*
I've only seen the first season of Entourage. Or wait. Maybe I've seen 2. Whatever is out on dvd. But anyway, I really like that show. I, too, am a fan of the Pivert.
And that is how the world is divided. Those of us that love the spongemonkeys and those that don't.
add me to the Piven fans. Love that show.
I should make an effort to cook for us one day. Shawn's been my kitchen angel lately. I never know what to make. Maybe I'll cook for his birthday.
Glad you are feeling upbeat. Stupid work trying to drag people down. Rise above!
Yup. Still funny. *snort*

Spongemonkeys, eh?
Some days I realise I know nothing about the world. I think this is one of those days.
I love the spongemoneys. They have a pepper bar.
Spongemonkeys, too. Darned k.
Also the suburb where they released that coyote isn't all that far from where I live, where the coyotes and fox and deer roam freely through my back yard. No spongemonkeys though. Not yet, anyway.
Don't get me started on Sophie. Let's just say that it's a good thing she doesn't live within driving distance of me.
As a faux blue, I sorta felt like I shouldn't pile on Sophie. But... fuck that. She stole our banana child!!! How many signatures are on that banana that are lost now? I almost think we should get a green fairy doll to send around to photograph in humliating circumstances.
*smooch* I do have faith that one day Carmen will show up at my door.
LMAO at Dave. That would have been hilarious.
Gourmet meal huh? I should try doing that one day. I don't even know what a gourmet meal is LOL.
Oh, and I loved the spongemonkeys.
"WE LOVE DA MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON"
Kim, you mentioned in Surveysez' blog that Iams dry food might be tainted. I got an email from Iams that said:
"...In fact, Iams and Eukanuba dry pet foods to DO NOT contain wheat gluten. Our dry dog and cat foods are made exclusively by P&G Pet Care and not by Menu Foods..."
This was sent to me on March 30, so maybe there is news since then. What have you heard?
*puts on rabbit ears and hops through blog*
You know, now that I'm looking at Nookie's role in everything, you are right. No more sympathy for Sophie.
Does Sophie live within driving distance of me?
I'm with Bob - spongemonkeys????
Keep upbeating Kim - July is coming!
LOL at the green fairy idea!
Puffy, I haven't heard anything more about the Iams stuff. I think it's all a lot of speculation. I was just being 'better safe than sorry' with our Nutro brand given the suspicious symptoms of our cat and the stories out there. I'm glad Iams is clearing things up. Our vet's brand (Hill's Prescription Diet) is doing a voluntary recall of some its dry cat food. We had almost switched them to that-glad we didn't!
I've never seen Entourage. I've heard it's funny. Maybe I'll have to see it.
I'm not cooking at all this weekend. I'm going to a poker game on Easter.
IAMS took out a full page ad in the Minneapolis Star/Tribune yesterday to say that their dry food did NOT contain any wheat gluten and give the details of where and how it was made.
