What a GREAT weekend! The weather was gorgeous. In the high 70s-mid 80s all weekend and lots of sun.
We watched my niece all weekend. She's such a tween (12). She just started shaving her legs this year and got contacts. *giggle* So cute.
I, with nieces help, landscaped the patio. Poor Chris has been sick, so he wasn't able to enjoy much of the sun on Saturday. Two of my solar lights don't work, so I have to return one of the packs. Too bad we burned the boxes. Ooops. I also put in tikis and some grasses and flowers. I just need more flowers and bark now. Well, and to finish off the deck that will connect to the patio.
My dad came over and we enjoyed a campfire Saturday night. I need marshmallow roasting sticks (metal ones) so I can quit scouring the woods for branches.
Sunday I laid in the sun for a bit (yes, I had sunscreen on!) and took a long walk. I did a little homework on the patio, too, because it was just too nice to be inside.

Yes we did. Although ours wasn't quite that warm.
Went to BF's son's baseball game Saturday afternoon. Sunday helped him turn on sprinkler systems at a couple customers. So I was outside most of the weekend. :)
Yeppers. I sat out on the back patio Saturday. I had a couple of projects to do for a bridal shower and I did them on the patio.
Spent yesterday at the in laws for the bridal shower. Luckily they have a huge backyard so most of the party was outdoors.
Unfortunatley, it looks like it will rain when you are here later in the week. *pout*
Go figure, CAs weather was carpier than here last time, too. *shakes fist at California*

It was nice this weekend, but I didn't enjoy any of it. I was a recluse and stayed inside all weekend. I hate the sun. :)
I have a duffle bag that would fit a dwarf, so you should fit just fine. *grin*
Breezy really does bring some fantastic weather with her when she visits.
As for the bridge? I think you will be fine. You're in Oakland and the fire was on the Berkely side of I-80. You can still get on and off of the bridge in both directions.
If I read correctly, you would only be affected if you were coming from the Berkeley direction which is East of Oakland.

We had nice weather too, Kim. Tom and I went for a picnic by the St Croix, up in Taylor's Falls.
It is nice today too, but so dry. I wish it would rain!
It was lovely here. We went to the Nationals game with my family. It was sooooo nice.
I laid out this weekend too, but I burned half of my legs. Right down the front...there is a red side and a white side. *sigh*

I use old metal hangers for marshmallow sticks. I always save a few even though I don't use them as hangers anymore.
