Turns out a Milwaukee bar I've been wanting to visit is having a pre-show bbq. It's a real working mans bar in the wrong part of town, but has the best beer selection in Milwaukee, plus a lot of cheapie beers and pickled products. Should be eventful.
2. I have to go to a retirement party tonight for one of Chris's coworkers. Probably more time than I want to spend with Chris's coworkers, but I like the guy and well, I love my husband, so I need to go. Unfortunately Chris has planned the party, so he'll need to stay for the whole thing. It's going to be a long night.

The part wasn't terrible. I took my sweet time getting there, so only had to endure about two hours. The retiree's slightly crazy wife did talk my ear off about her maladies for about 30 minutes. She's one of these people that believes anything she finds on the internet.
Puffy, people chipped in anywhere from $25-5. They got him the bird lady garden/indoor statue from Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. The retiree is moving to Savannah when they sell their house and LOVE Midnight. I thought it was a perfect gift.
1. If I liked either beer or pickles I would be more fascinated by item #1. Fortunately,bars serve other drinks too!
2. Wait. There's untrue stuff on the internet!?!
I loved that book too.
