My Web Project

A little brag about the skills I learned this summer. I took a class in Web Design for Educators and made this bad boy from html scratch, with no help from templates, Dreamweaver, etc.

Very nice! I like the colors and the clear composition. It's well-organized, too. I also like that the photos you used feature people of different ethnicities. It's a little thing, but important.

I'm a website snob. I have to do all of my stuff from scratch so I definitely appreciate when someone else does.

I didn't know you were a geek, Fro! :-) You are so multi-talented!

Thanks for all the compliments. I did try to find different ethnicities. I had a hard time finding one with a man that wasn't a doctor *rolls eyes*, so unfortunately I didn't meet all my photo goals.

I'm compleltely impressed.

Will this be used in a practical sense as well, or is it specifically for your course?

Either way, well done.

I like your mentoring tips.

Of course, I spelled "completely" incorrectly.

I am becoming the Queen of mis-spelling.

Thanks, MC. I plan on beefing it up a bit more and using it for a project we are working on this fall.

Yep. I'm a geek. That's why I can work from home, actually. The bulk of my work is creating databases to store conference registration data, and web pages to collect that data (and dump it into the database.)

The table tag and I are very good friends.

Very impressive, Kim!

I'm a geek too, but not in the design-your-own-website way, but more in a dorky-doofus-geeky way.

Excellent! Very professional. I worked in nursing homes as the speech therapist, for ten years. Not only is the website terrific, but so is the content.

*applauds*

Great website Kim! I wouldn't have the SLIGHTEST idea how to do stuff like that!
