Apparently I'm cranky today. It just hit me when my boss blew into my office with 14 questions all at once. Anyway, let's have cheesecake this morning. It's Monday, we need comfort food.
How did I last so long with only one tv in the house? I LOVE having two tvs! I snuggled under the covers in the spare bedroom Sunday morning & watched two shows Chris would have no interest in.
One of those shows was The Shopping Bags. It's a Canadian show where two hip ladies run around testing products. They, for example, enlist the help of a synchronized swimming team to test shaving products, dancers to test foot baths, men with different beard types to test razors, etc...I love the show. It's on the Fine Living channel if you are interested.
In other tv viewing news, we got our new Dish Network HD box this weekend. The highlight of our new HD channels? Cows Licking Fencepost. There was an hour long show that was just of cows walking around & closeups of them licking fenceposts. Another favorite was Tai Chi at the Golden Gate Bridge. When the show started, it was a little before dawn & you could barely make out the Tai Chi-ers. As the sun rose, you could then plainly watch them. No sound other than what they are hearing (traffic, nature). We had fun checking in on these shows.
ETA: I had a dream that Syren married JD Fortune in Milwaukee. The best man looked like a short Toby Keith and sang "Live like you were dying." I blame watching Tim McGraw on the Today show Friday morning and listening to INXS on my MP3 player last night. It was very odd. I'm not sure what I blame Syren for. :-) Sorry CSTL.

Whoa! Yes, I can imagine you're glad to finally get HD! Imagine living so long without the ability to view cows licking fenceposts!
Now, you'll be wondering "How did I live without this?"
Um, I moved away from the farm to get away from the cows.
(Okay, that sounds good, but actually my mom moved us away from the farm when I was fifteen.)
Glad you're enjoying tv in your bedroom.
I'm not sure what to say. A show with just cows licking fenceposts might be one of the oddest things ever.
*plays country music on my keytar*
I get to see that bridge. *hop*
I love weird dreams, and trying to figure out what prompted them.
My dad gets those weird HD channels too. Some of them are neat!
Hmmm, I think I may have watched TV with Chris. *smirk*
I don't know how we ever survived with just one TV either. Now we have four, and sometimes it's still not enough.
*dances to the keytar*
Which one of us are you calling a bag?
Cheesecake - do you have some raspberry sauce to go on it?
Cows licking fenceposts? I think that would bore me to tears!
We have never had a TV in the bedroom.. don't want one! I don't think I'd ever get peaceful sleep! It's bad enough the TV backs up to our bedroom wall- DH has to turn it down when I go to bed- it *must* be quiet for me to go to sleep!
I want to see the cows doing Tai Chi.
Having a tv in the bedroom is what I miss the most when we're at the cottage. It was so nice to wake up on Sunday morning and lay in bed and watch a movie. We watched King Kong. There were no cows but there were a lot of other creatures.
So when are you going to dream about me?
Our first HD show was scuba diving. Michelle wouldn't change the channel because she felt like we had a huge fish tank on the wall.
I love the Shopping Bags!
Our TV in the bedroom just died. Now I have nowhere to play my video games when DS is playing Daniel Cook on the computer. *pout*
