So I bought some pastrami from the deli over the weekend. It was on clearance & needs to be used this week. Chris loves rye bread, so I thought he'd enjoy some pastrami sandwiches. Well, the loaf of rye bread is gone & I still have some pastrami. I don't particularly love pastrami, mostly because of the fat in it. Hence, I don't really know what to do with it other than sandwiches.
So if I trim away the fat and cut it up, do you think it would taste good with ravioli or tortellini in a light sun dried tomato and alfredo sauce?
ETA:
These are what Breezy forgot. They are the ones that say "blitzed, bombed, etc" as shown in the upper right. I figured since everyone didn't drink bottled beverages, Breezy could decide who gets to wear which as a bracelet for the evening.

Bring it to SF and we can experiment with it. :)
No.
But I don't think Pastrami is good with anything.
*throws pastrami at carey & boo*
Hm, I seemed to have solved my problem. No more pastrami!
I'd probably give it a try.
I am a culinary moron. Don't ask me.
Plus, I've never tasted pastrami, so I wouldn't have the foggiest what it would be good with.
Mmmm, pastrami!
*eats pastrami*
BREEZY FORGOT THE BEER BANDS!!!!!
Shut up! Did she really? *throws pastrami at Breezy*
She did. She just called from Minneapolis to tell me that she forgot her sunglasses and the beer bands. *shakes head*
Put it in an omelette.
I'll take a sammich please. thanks.
::eats baby swiss while waiting for pastrami sammich::
I don't believe these "beer bands" ever even existed.
What happened to good ol' ham and swiss on rye?
I bet I could get one of those from zombie's blog.
I don't think it would be good heated with pasta, sorry.
And Boo, you could probably get a lot of things from Zombie's blog. None of which you want, I bet.
Airport security has them. I know they do!
Nice try, oh forgetful one!
