Working from home

Yummy breakfast pastries for Swami this morning, many with cream cheesy fillings. Take that, Tom!

I'm working at home today because I have a major report to finish. I got up as usual this morning, but had a leisurely breakfast and baked brownies. Not cupcakes? Nope. I didn't have enough liners. Chris will be iritated because I used applesauce for half the oil in the brownies.

They just mentioned the Green Monstah on the Today show, as they are doing a segment at Fenway Park. It's the 7th spot on their "America the Beautiful" list. I waved at Monsty.

I also got to see a rather buff looking Matt Damon. I mentioned elsewhere, I now find him attractive. I never did until Bourne and Oceans.

Maybe I'll go to the post office and mail my t-shirt out today. I also have something to mail my walking buddy Boo, as well as some thank you cards to mail.

Anyone want to bring their laptop and work at my house today? I made a very good pot of coffee and the brownies are fresh.

I mailed a letter to you guys. Hopefully you get it in time.

DW is also lusting over Matt Damon. We'll likely end up seeing the Bourne Ultimatum (we both love the series, and have the books), but she will be drooling over Matt the whole time.

I thought I had a t-shirt ready to go, but they didn't have the size I needed. Back to square one.

DO NOT. I REPEAT, DO NOT, check your email if you are really trying to get anything done at home.

Yay! I'll be there with my laptop! Do we have to work though?

Well, MTW, we could just have our laptops open so it looks like we are working.

My brain is on lunch. I'm thinking hummus, pitas sprinkled with olive oil and dusted with greek seasoning, and a chopped spinach & tomato combo to spoon on top.

Matt is getting better with age, yeah?

I'm packing up my laptop. MTW should pick me up on his way there.

I'm having cantaloupe and vanilla yogurt for lunch. yummy.

Oh wow. Yummy cream cheesy things...

I would love to come by, but have no laptop. Could I bring my Harry Potter book instead?

Hey, do you guys have Havarti in Wisconsin? My cousin told me that when her cheese got confiscated at the border on her camping trip to Michigan, she tried to get more and got a bunch of blank looks instead.

I'm picking up Glow on the way! :) Woo hoo! Haven't seen her in ages. We'll have our laptops on and concerned thoughtful looks on our faces that make it look like we're thinking (the same look I've got now at work).

I'll bring my Harry Potter book, too, Seana.

Would love nothing better than to work from home!

*waves* I am alive!!

At least bring a fake book jacket for your books (something bland like Databases for Dummies) so I don't feel so bad for working.

Seana-yep, we have havarti. Maybe she just said it with a weird Canadian accent. Or maybe it's just those weird Michigan peeps. *grin*

*rolls eyes* The Cheese Lady downtown here has Havarti.

Please check your email. Boo and I asked you some important questions.

I find it pretty funny that they confiscated her cheese, actually.

Apparently you can't take fresh fruit or cheese or any meat but pork or fish. Whatever.

*waves to jenbeauty* Hi!

Isn't it weird Seana? A friend of ours came down to visit from Canada. He had a little baggie of venison jerky that he was snacking on. They took it from him. He tried to reason with them... the deer was shot in MI! I told him, they were probably just hungry.
