Plain havarti and dill havarti, in honor of Seana, today. Also, there is venison jerky available from Breezy's friend. *munch munch*
So I plan on reading and walking a lot this weekend. I have some minimal cleaning projects to work on, also, but I'll need some entertainment. I don't think more Netflix movies will arrive on time for my weekend, so I might stop at Blockbuster. Any recommendations for newer (last year or so) movies?
We finished The Shield Season 1 last night. Cripes, there are six seasons so far that we need to watch. The seventh and final season is airing this fall. I think we'll skip watching it and just wait to watch that season til we get through the others. It's such a good show.

DH and I had a garlic and herb spread on crusty bread last night for dinner. Just that and some wine. We felt very European.
I caught up a little and think it is great that you and Boo are doing this walk. You are good peeps. Just dont' bring back any toe cheese.
Eeeeeew, you said toe cheese.
I have got to thank you for the marinated watermelon with brioche croutons. I had to use challal instead of brioche but that's quite alright.
We had it last night. OMG!!!
Yum Yum Yumminy.
MC-I thought that looked really good. Glad it was yummy. Now I'LL have to try it. Later this month is a good time here for melons.
BTW, could you email me your address?
I haven't been to the video store in ages, not even sure what's out on DVD.
I think we're going to go see the new Bourne Saturday night, wanna come?
Oooh, yes, Breezy. My $150 date to the movies. *giggle*
LOL, I just read some of the Bourne reviews on Yahoo...this one caught my eye:
Where did you EVER get the idea that hiring "Shakes the Clown" as your cameraman was a good idea?
LMAO Shakes hung up his lawbooks?
I have no movie ideas, but let me know when to be there and we can watch together.
If you want to watch some TV, how about renting Arrested Development?
Do you like scary movies? The Messengers was good. I saw Premonition (Sandra Bullock) but was disappointed. It was a good movie but a bit complicated.
I'd like to see Zodiac (Jake Gylenhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal).
I know there are a bunch of girlie movies I want to see but can't think of any for the life of me. Sheesh.
I tried watching Arrested Development when it was on, and while I didn't DISLIKE it, I wasn't compelled to keep watching it.
Nookie-I always forget about scary movies. Yes, I like them, so will keep The Messengers in mind.
Breezy-I just got my Lake Express Travel Ideas e-mail for the month. Nowhere was "Visit Breezy for a Movie" on there.
Ack!! Kim!! Aressted Development is an awesome show.
I think this is our first disagreement.
I'm afraid I can no longer associate with you.
:-)
Well, at least I didn't say I hated it.
I ended up watching three movies:
Memoirs of a Geisha (I'd read the book, never saw the movie). I liked the book better.
The Holiday. It fit my desire for a chick flick. It was cute. I'd recommend it if you are looking for a light movie.
The Forgotten. Nookie's movie looked to scary for me to watch by myself, so I decided on a more psychological thriller...or so I thought. Turned out it wasn't what I had anticipated. I don't recommend it. Although, I love Julianne Moore as an actress, so I endjoyed watching her.
I realized I need to put Jesus Camp in my Netflix cue. It was out at Blockbuster, but I'd really like to see it.
