Boo called me cheesy. I take that as a compliment. :-)
Baby swiss, gouda and spreadable blue cheese today. Much away.
I just came back from all school work day. Note, it's only lunchtime. I blew off the afternoon in favor of getting some work done here. I made my splash by presenting some big ideas in our brainstorming sessions, so now I can waltz away.
So, what have I missed this morning?
And would anyone like half my brownie?
ETA:
We may be victims of identify theft. Chris apparently had $3000 of medical services last year in Racine that haven't been paid. Considering we haven't lived there since um, 1998 and I don't think Chris EVER received medical services while we lived there....yeah, not sure what happened. A collection agency is after us now. Sigh.

Half a brownie? Yes please :-)
First come, first served. I hope you don't mind I took the bigger half. :-)
*misses brownie*
*sulks*
I wanna blow off work. *pout*
I was gonna offer you a soft taco from Chipolte in exchange for your brownie, but I guess I'll just eat it instead.
Did you see on the Peep Meet thread when I met Fishwoman we ate cheese? I thought of you.
I want a brownie!!!
I did, Deb, and I was very proud of you.
DF, I am too stuffed to even consider a burrito at this point, although I do love some Chipotle!
Wow! What a coincidence. I have a whole plateful of espresso chip brownies made by a professional dessert chef friend of mine who was trying out a new recipe. They are WONDERFUL, and you can all have some! :)
In other news, I want some spreadable blue cheese and crackers. Also, I have been busy and unable to update or comment. And MM's blog has gone missing.
Yikes about the identity theft. I'm still dealing with the aftermath of ours.
My family is gone and I get to play tennis tonight with no guilt or shame.
Frody: I have some brownie bites here. They're cute little muffin sized brownies.
And I have 3 mini pecan pies and 1 chocolte fudge pie.
All of the cookies are gone. And I took the cupcakes to Conner.
Oh, wait there is also BBQ, Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans and rolls.
Oh, and last night, I grilled a bacon cheddar burger patty for dinner. It was AWESOME. I also had some Habanero Doritos and got some of the spicy powder in my eye. I had to flush my eye out. It stung like crazy!!!
You missed me rolling my eyes, slamming my hand on the desk and stomping my feet.
I only do this in private when I have to deal with an extreme idiot. It's sort of my version of Jameka's hand clapping.
Why, why, why, can't people use voice mail correctly?? If I call you, get your voice mail and leave a specific question, why can't you just call me back and either leave the answer with my assistant or on the voice mail? Why the phone tag? Why?
Boo, that reminds me. I need to talk to you about something. ;-)
Mmm, Habenero Doritos are my favorite.
Ok, those brownies sound AWESOME! Could you arrange for her to try out a new recipe in October? :-)
Boo, I'll take them. Yummy!
And MTW, I would like to know where one can acquire a professional dessert chef friend. I need one. NEED.
My voice mail says: "Please leave a detailed message. . . " and no one ever does. I always get, "Hi, call me back" type messages. I hate those. It's inefficient. If you leave me a detailed message with what you want, I can get the answer for you and call you back with it, and we're done. Rather, I now have to call you back, hear the question, hang up, figure it out, then have to call you back again with the answer. Duh.
Maybe my voice mail should say that, instead.
I dare you to change it Fro.
That's why I despise my voicemail at work. Either I get an hour long rambling message, or one where we have to play phone tag to answer a tiny question that would've better been dealt with via email.
*sneaks in and steals the fudge pie from Booboo*
Better watch out. I think Carey like to make fudge pies, IYKWIM.
Weltek: Is it possible the hospital made an error.
When I hurt my ankle, we went to the ER. They treated me without even "checking me in." I called them on the following Monday to tell them that they never asked for my personal information or insurance information.
I then got a bill for $30, paid it. Then another for $100, paid it. I even called to make sure I really owed the $100 since I had already paid the $30. They insisted I did. They even threatened with collections if I didn't pay it. Last week, we got a refund of $30.
Idiots.
That was my first thought, Boo. Chris just got off the phone with the hospital billing dept. and they are being great. They are going to work on figuring the error out, with the most important first step of clearing our name internally and with the credit agency and reporting bureau. They are even going to initiate a police report. I'm sure we'll still have a load of paperwork to deal with, but it's nice to know they aren't fighting it (at least yet). I told Chris I'd laugh if he was a 50 year old hispanic male. :-)
Oh yikes. It sounds like it will be a pain in the ass but it will all get cleared up. *smooch*
DH took his mom to the hospital nearly a year ago - she had come to live with us, and somehow at the hospital they put our address and phone number for a lady Hermina Arentz. I am still getting calls for her- politely telling them there was a mixup has thankfully worked for the time being.
All this food talk, I'm going to go make Strawberry pie!
