On a better note

Grapes and smoked cheddar today.

I got to spend the morning wrapping gifts for our work unit's "adopted family." I tried channeling Boo, but no luck. The stuff looked amateur. Anyway, the stuff is for a 16 year old single mother and her son.

Tonight I'll finish wrapping gifts for my family and Chris's at home, then hopefully finish writing out cards.

Friday we head north to Chris's dad's house. I'm feeling prepared for the holidays. Shocking!

Breezy! Did you see the new Prilosec commercial with Brett? Ok, his pretend family is also in there, but they aren't real, right? *saves Breezy a spot in fantasy land*

yes! I saw it. I didn't notice anyone else on the screen though. *head tilt*

*drool*

I have Chris well trained. He was paging through the DISH tv guide on screen and the commercial came on. He cancelled out of the tv guide so I could watch the full sized commercial. *giggle*

*giggle* Look what you did! Did you see my post in yesterday's entry?

Might I suggest the clementine as a nice winter fruit for your next cheese display?

And I got your kind note on my blog and I am about to start blogging again. Just not now becuase I think All Stah should be waking up from his nap and I want to make sure I have time to think and write some.

I will be wrapping gifts this weekend.

How nice that your office buys gifts for a young spinster breeder!

I could not post on Debs yesterday. I still can't read MM's. My computer crashes everytime I bring it up. She must think I am ignoring her.

In an amazing coincidence (or not) I have been wrapping gifts this afternoon too. Only they're all for us. None of that charitable, selfless giving carp for me! My kids have expectations.

Tom's work always sponsors a couple of families but we just give money and some committee wraps them, somewhere. I think.

Or the committee goes out for a nice dinner & drinks. :-)

I'd rather just give these families in need some cash. They probably would rather have help paying bills. Also, then I don't have to shopping and wrap nor does a committee.
