Morning campers! I have some leftover sharp cheddah for you to munch on. If you so please, there is also venison summer sausage.
The weather was pretty great all weekend. Too hot & humid yesterday, though.
My weekend activities included: cooking, reading, sitting on my butt by the fire, playing cards, boating, walking to the bathroom and garbage dumpsters, drinking and sleeping.
The boat ride was fun. It was first positive boating experience in a long, long time. Usually whatever boat I'm in malfunctions, hits something, the water is too low, the driver doesn't know the waterway or the water is too choppy. This time, the water was high, the boat was fine and it was a little choppy, but that's ok. Chris did a great job driving us around the river (Mississippi).
I read my INXS: Story to Story book. Interesting stuff. Quite sad when it started talking about Michael's death.
Rum & coke get me in trouble. *passes out* Just sayin'.

The lake was choppy here too. We still managed to have a good time. Glad you enjoyed yourself.
I didn't get to go out on the boat. Someone had to stay back at the house with the sleeping beast. Usually a few people stay back at the house, but this time they all went. All of them. I was all alone and I loved it.
I made some stuffed 'shrooms with lots and lots and lots of cheese. Nummy!
Glad you had a good time.
We went out on the big lake for a minute and then rushed right back in. Lakes were choppy here too, and cold. brrrrrr which sucked cause it was hot in enough that we wanted to jump in.
The St. Croix is still pretty high too, Kim. We hit stuf more during high water than low because (a) we may be going faster and (b) there is more shore debris floating just below the surface during springtime high water.
Our weekend weather was perfect (well, really too hot for me) until we had a big boomer thunderstorm last night which knocked our power out for about 4 hours. I hate losing power.
What did you read? I finally read Stephen King's Cell while I was up north. It's the best book he has written in a while.
Sounds like a good weekend.
Didja make s'mores?
Any left?
*cheesy grin*
Was the tent puke-free?
I'm happy to report the tent was puke-free!
And speaking of smores. I didn't not eat any, however, I did consume some yummy toasted coconut marshmallows. *drool*
I also had a pizza and a ham, cheese, mushroom & onion Hobo/Pudgie/Camper pie.
Mmmm...rum & coke.
Wait, so did you, or did you not, eat some smores? *head tilt*
Oh, and what are coconut marshmallows and how can I get me some?
I did NOT eat smores, but I did have toasted marshmallows of the coconut variety. Scroll to the bottom of this webpage:

Run & Coke used to do the same to me. That's why I now do Scotch and water. It does the same but with fewer calories!
Heh. Glad you had a good time.
*freezes kim's bra while she is passed out*
Ooh! Those look so good. I have never seen them around here before. *pout*
*steals all the sharp chedder*
I read a book called "A Dog's Life: The Autobiography of a Stray". I liked it.
I wanna boat!!!!!!!!!!!
