Girly Talk

Screw the cheese & let's have truffles...Men enter at your own risk. I wonder if Chris will be embarassed that his wife is spouting about this on the internet.

**filler***

I'm going on a girly stuff rant:
Why can't I control my period? BC Pills made it lighter, but never controlled my spotting all frickin month long. I've been on them since I was 16 & it's always been problematic. I tried Depo with the same results (plus, I was semi-allergic to Depo shots).

I shave my toes sometimes. This should have gone on my weird things list. I sprout about 3 hairs on top of each toe & they are dark enough to bother me. So in sandal weather, I tend to shave them.

I hate being a girl. What issues do you have? Massive PMS? Cramps? Hair in weird places? Come on girls, let it out. Don't let me be embarassed by myself.

LOL!!!

Well you know my toe hair problem. I have dark hair on my toes. I shave them.

Never had any period problems. Very lucky. I don't bloat, cramp and very rarely get cranky. I was on the pill once or twice but went off cause I felt lousy, gained weight and lost my sex drive.

I have two hairs on my chin that I pluck. Hate them.

I think I may have been thrown out of the girls only club as I barely even shave my legs and I've never tweezed my eyebrows.

Though just for the record, I checked the other day and I don't have any hair on my legs above the knee.

My flow has been getting weird lately. I've always been a light bleeder, but lately.... stand up and gush. TMI? *giggle*

Thank you for joining me :-)

I think babies should grow from seeds in peat pots, just like flowers. Then we wouldn't need our reproductive systems.

I shave my toes, too! And I almost put it on my weird things list, but I was too embarassed. LOL. And I also have some black hairs that appear on my neck that I have to pluck. Ick.

I get horrible cramps. I have them right now, in fact. My period used to be way funky when I was younger. I would get it once every 4 months or so. I went on BC for awhile, and that helped and now they are regular by themselves. I do have a lot of clotting though. I should get that checked out. I've never been to an OB/GYN.

If I feel the need to overshare anymore today, I'll know where to come. :)

I wish for one day all the men in the world could have PMS and then their period along with the cramps, bloating, etc. Plus, they should all have to shave and get horrible razor burn in sensitive places. After that, they can go through 12 to 15 hours of labor.

*sigh* I hate being a girl. Men have it so.damn.easy.

Zombs said...

Jen! Get thee to an OBGYN! It really isn't so bad. I love it so much I go once a month now. Takes the place of having a period.

Who has hair growing out of moles?

Bravie said...

I have always had a very regular period but very difficult. Ever since my first period I would get cramps so badly that I would have to stay home. Now my period isn't so regular and I alternate between a decent period month and a horrible period month. I PMS terribly. Bloating, back aches, sore tits, even moodier than normal and ultra sensitive.
I have to shave my toes about every three months.
And this is for Breezy's enjoyment: My poop is different during my period. I'm not saying how, I'm just saying it's different.

Bravie said...

And I now blame Kim for me getting my period. I knew I was due but this talk made it come early.
I'll be cranky tomorrow because I will have had no sleep due to cramps.

momma said...

Okay, I too have about three hairs on my toes - but only the big toe and the long skinny toe next to it. I used to have three more hairs on the top of each foot, but apparently I shaved them enough that they no longer feel wanted or needed there.

I started the other day. Not a bad period, either. Slight moodiness (less than usual), minimal cramps, a bit of a backache, and a medium flow. TMI? My periods are all jacked up. Three days on, one day off, a day of spotting...and maybe another day just for the hell of it all.

Um.....what else did you want to know?

Swami said...

LOL!

I have some hairs on my big toes only, but it is blonde so I just ignore it. I tried to shave it off once in college but I managed to nick both toes really bad and then had to explain why I had scabs on my toes. That cured me of toe-shaving.

My periods were always pretty good, just a few light cramps on day one. When I was on the pill I barely had periods at all - but I hated the pill. I think it made me depressed because I felt ever so much better when I went off it. Now I have hot flashes, which totally suck! Menopause sucks.

I never got mood-swing PMS symptoms, but I tended to drop things when I was pre-menstrual. It was very weird.

I love being a girl! Because the alternative is being a guy. Who wants all those silly dangling appendages knocking around your crotch? Really, men are rather improbable looking. I still don't know how they ride bicycles.

I have one mole that decided to grow hair a few years ago, Puffy. I hate that. One of these days I am going to get the sucker removed!

*raises hand*

Oh wait, I thought you meant...never mind.

As for my periods, pretty normal and regular. One light month and then one heavy. Could this have anything to do with having only one ovary?

Also, I have no hair on my toes. :P

Zombs said...

Nookie has hair on her toes. Where is she by the way?

Breezy said...

LMAO period poop.

kim (weltek) said...

Of course poop talk was bound to happen!

So if I were to look at my best months, my period regularly runs 8 days: Sunday thru Sunday. My worst months (this one being one of those), my period starts the Wed. before it's supposed to, ends on the following Sunday (12 days), stops for about 4 days, starts again for about 5 days, stops for about 5 days and then starts again. So that means over half the month I'm bleeding. It's really effing frustrating.

I've tried about 10 kinds of BC pills (I've been on them for 1about 14 years) & none ever fixes the problem. I always give them a shot for a full year. This current one seems the worst.

Bravie said...

And your doctor has checked everything out for you? I assume so since you are on BC pills. That just seems very irregular.
I'm not going to complain anymore when I bleed for a 5th day.

Aislinn Sirk said...

When Mr Bob and I were first going out, he mentioned he would hate to be a girl because you are "broken a week every month". I asked what the hell he was talking about. He said "you know, all moody and not in control of emotions".

I told him this was pretty damn rich coming from a guy who got all moody and started shaking if he hadn't eaten in the last 2 hours. He grinned at me and asked if I was on my period.

Jerk

FTR, I've never had PMS or anything other than very minor cramps.

Sonya said...

Are we pmsing together?

Zombs said...

Hey! Mr. Bob lost a few points from me!

I too will never complain when I bleed for 5 days. Kim that is horrible.

In other news I no longer have ass pimples. That seemed to be a unique experience.

kim (weltek) said...

Yeah, I complain about it to the gyno every year. They shrug & try a new pill. I might start keeping a calendar & show them. Maybe that will have greater impact.

kim (weltek) said...

Ass pimples suck. Come on, you've all had one before, admit it.

Bravie said...

Yep. Have ad an ass pimple before. And depending on exactly where it is, it can be most most uncomfortable and painful.

Swami said...

I enjoy ass pimples.

HistoryDetective said...

Please, Swami, I pray to Dog that you meant ass dimples.

Sorry, I'm late to the party.

It's been a hellish week, especially at work.

Periods: You all know by now that I don't have 'em anymore. WOO and FRICKING HOO!!!!! When I was a young teen, I had severe cramps and bleeding. The pill helped. Then I had a fibroid some years back. I bled for 3 weeks out of the month for almost a year. My doctor just kept trying new pills. New doctor went for a look. Then things were normal until after I had Conner. I mean clockwork.

Since dh and I decided one child was enough, I had the endometrial ablation. NO MORE PERIODS. No cramps, no sore oobies.

I've had a butt pimple. And like Carey said. Ouch!

Lasann said...

In HS, I thought girls who stayed home because of their period were just whiny idiots. Then, as always happens to me, I was given a look at what.it.means.to.have.cramps. This was after the kids.

Few toe hairs - shave when I think of it.

After Bob's tweezing post I was wondering something. All you tush shavers, do you shave around the "poop" area. If so, are you some kind of flexible. I am so afraid of cutting myself there.

I *shakes head in shame* have hairs around my nipples.

{{don't hate me}}

kim (weltek) said...

Boo-should I be making my gyno check extra good for fibroids? I'm so clueless.

Lasann-I have one noticeable crazy hair by a nipple. I pluck it out before it gets out of control.

Swami said...

Ass pimples, ass dimples, they're all good, HD.

I do not shave my ass hair, being nowhere close to flexible enough, lol. I have, however, had my ass hair 'done' for me - and I felt very special if somewhat awkward.

I have a rogue nipple hair too, Kim! It is very blonde and thin so always forget about it until it's suddenly like and inch and a half long. Then I go "Gah!!!" and pluck it out.

Most of my body hair is fairly blonde (even though my head hair is/was mostly reddish brown) but there is one dime size spot on my right upper arm where the hair is very brown, and a little bit longer than the other arm hairs. It's weird.

I have never shaved my arms but I have a good friend who has shaved hers for years. Any other arm shavers?

kim (weltek) said...

Arm shaving would freak.me.out.

Jen said...

TMI! I shaved my ass a couple weeks ago. I had to have a colonoscopy and I didn't want any hair back there! LOL.

I shaved my arms once when I was younger.

I have ass pimples, and pimples on my inner thighs. I cannot get them to go away. Maybe I need to use an acne wash or something? It really bugs me.

kim (weltek) said...

Since we are talking about pimples, ever get an ingrown hair on your pubes? Yow!

kim (weltek) said...

I'm really glad few people know my blog exists.

Bravie said...

Kim, sweetie? I got news for you. More people read your blog than you think. I don't know who but I do know that you have more readers than posters. We all do. *smooch*

I'm not a rim shaver. Had someone do it for me once and my asshole itched so bad while it grew back that I decided against that ever.again.
I don't shave down that far on the hoohah. I shave it just down to the, uh, parting of the sea? *grin*
All valleys have ground covering.
Yes!!! the ingrown hair. Hate those. I used to get them more, not as much anymore. Maybe it likes my Mach3 razor. *grin*

Bravie said...

And yes to one nipple hair that pops out a couple of times a year. I give it a good yank and wait for another 6 months or so.

Aislinn Sirk said...

I think I might be kinda wishing I didn't read this blog anymore.

HistoryDetective said...

I'm learning new things. I know more than one guy with a furry ass. I didn't know that some women also grow hair there...

Swami said...

It's not a pelt, like man-ass hair, HD. The hair is just a minimal anti-friction type thing, not curly like pubic hair, not dense. It's delicate ass hair. Very feminine.

kim (weltek) said...

*snort* Feminine ass hair. I think I'd better go put a new post up.

Anonymous said...

First off: Kim, it's certainly worth a shot to ask about the fibroids. Sometimes they are harmless, but not always. Sometimes they can lead to a hysterectomy. You may decide not to have kids, but you are much too young to have all of the plumbing removed.

I have feminine ass hair, but it's more at the small of my back.

I also have the oobie hair that I have to pluck about every six months.

I also have hair on my arms. But it's not like a big bushy carpet. It's very fine and delicate, and I actually like it. I think I would look funny without it.

Since we're on the subject of personal stuff, I have found myself to really notice teeth lately.

I'll start by admitting that my teeth are not perfectly straight. In fact I have one up top that is not alligned and a couple on the bottom row. It's funny because I notice it all the time. But there are people I have known for years who have never noticed it. My dentist thinks I'm a good candidate for Invisiline, but I can't afford it right now.

But lately when I look at people I really notice their teeth. And not on purpose. I don't have a problem with imperfect teeth. Dirty, nasty teeth is another story. Crooked teeth really don't bother me. I just can't seem to look away from people's teeth these days.

HistoryDetective said...

Well, that's good to know about the feminine ass hair.

I don't mind a guy with a furry ass. In fact, it can be kind of sexy.

What freaks me out is a guy with a smooth ass --- smooth until he spreads his cheeks at least. Discovering a forest of dark crinkly hairs hiding in there is very disconcerting.
